HelloEveryBody Remodeling Body Scrub in Real Berry: Review
With winter fast approaching and that sadly meaning that my dry skin is probably getting ready to come and plague me once again I was of course on the lookout for something that might just help me feel a little more comfortable in my own skin.
On looking through the review list from Wishtrend I came across the HelloEveryBody Remodeling Body Scrub in Real Berry and just knew it was something I should try – sadly in the time it took to arrive plus a couple of weeks for me to try and review it Wishtrend have discontinued the item so I can’t tell you what the company say about this product themselves but they do have some other HelloEveryBody products still for sale on the Wishtrend site if you fancy a look through those.
I’m going to admit it now this a bit of a half and half product for me – when it arrived it had leaked some of the oil out which thankfully had been contained in the amazing wrapping Wishtrend provide on all their products so it was still very usable and of course the first thing I did once I had cleaned it up was to stick my nose in the pot and give it a big old sniff as I expected it to give off this wonderful fragrance of berries, sadly though it left me choking as to me it seemed to give off quite a chemically smell.
It took me a couple of days to pluck up the courage to give it another try and I have to say I am glad I did give it that second chance.
The formula is quite thick and almost jelly-like and you are provided with a spatula to help spoon it out of the tub at first I wasn’t sure how I would like that but I have to admit it does make it easier in the shower to put it on without all the fallout you often get with a sea salt scrub, which most probably helps towards the wonderfully soft skin you are left with after using this product.
As for the fragrance, it seems to have calmed over time I’ve had the scrub, so I’m not sure if perhaps it was an issue with it having been stored up for a while or the leak but once in use it actually gives off a nice scent, that although strong is very much more like the one I had originally expected from it, it also leave quite a kick of fragrance on the skin so if you’re not one for liking such a strong and lasting fragrance again this is a scrub to stay away from.
So like I said I’m torn on this product, while it works brilliantly and in the end, did smell good, the leakage and the original bad smell of it make me think that perhaps this scrub just isn’t the right one for me.
What do you think about the HelloEveryBody scrub, would you like to try it?

That stuff looks like a really weeeeird consistency! x
It is a little :/ I can only think to explain it like jelly x
I love body scrubs but I just need someone to put it on my back now – does Hugh Jackman come with the scrub 😉 ?
I can imagine the stamped in store if they did 🙂 xx
I love the Soap&Glory scrub with the crushed peach seeds…YUM YUM!
That is amazing isn’t it – I’ve just finished a tub as well before I started this one. x
If I’d receive the same product in the condition you’ve mentioned, I’d also feel the same way, but still, I would try it. I love body scrubs, it makes me feel refreshed and anew.
It’s nice to try them isn’t it just to see, glad I did with this one I have to say. x
I’ve wondered about it I have to admit – I think I’m going to have to take the plunge as it would be lovely to use your own I think 🙂 x
Oh I bet that would be nice – might have to try and get the other half to give me one nice might help my back as well x
have never used a body scrub but would be willing to try one
You should definitely give one a go it really does help the skin x
I love body scrubs I think once a week everyone should do one. It leaves you feeling like a whole new person. This looks great I’ll give it a go
Its lovely isn’t it managing to scrub away the dead skin x
see all you beauty bloggers have inspired me to try stuff out here and there, so this looks pretty cool. think i’ll add it to my list of things to hunt down and buy 🙂
What have you been trying? It’s amazing the things out there isn’t it x
I love body scrubs! the closest thing I can get to a spa.:)
I remember being at a spa once and they gave me some body scrub to try it was amazing! I wish I had got the name x
i think i’d try it. leaking happens – but the end result is what matters.
It really is – I think it’s quite a liquidy oily product as well which at the best of times is hard to contain x
I like body scrubs, but they are finishing so fast in my house. I feel so good and refreshed after using them, so I think I would love Remodeling Body Scrub.
They are lovely aren’t they it seems to really revive the skin 🙂 x
I love that this review is completely honest! I am not sure that I’d want to try the product if it has a chemical smell, but it looks like it would make your skin feel really soft!
It does work well I have to admit which is a plus so it will be used 🙂 x
I would give it a try. We use a fireplace and my skin gets so dry. Plus I just love the name of it LOL
It’s an amazing name isn’t it ! Have to admit that partly drew me to it. x
new to me, that’s a good body scrub to have a soft and fine outcome indeed. thanks for sharing.
Your welcome – I have to admit it was nice that it worked well at least x
I have never tried it before and I am so sorry about your sniffing experience there. Sounds like one strong chemical smell it has then. That’s a bummer. Thanks for sharing your review.
I will definitely approach with a bit more caution in future lol x
Ohh i love body scrub from time to time it really exfoliate dead skin will check this one
I hope you like it if you do give it a try 🙂 x
Oh the color is yummy. I bet it feels really good to scrub it in your skin!
It feels lovely and really does make your skin so soft as well 🙂 x
I have to admit, the initial smell and the oozing might turn me off but I will try anything once. You have to give it a chance or you could miss out on a great product.
So true – you never know what it might turn out to be 🙂 x
I love body scrubs! I always am looking for new and better ones to try.
They are lovely aren’t they – I don’t know how I used to do without them x
You know, I have never actually had a body scrub before. Lotions, yes. Body scrub never. Not sure why that is! They sound kind of cool, I imagine they would be effective at exfoliation. I should try it!
Oh you should definitely try one – can I recommend the Soap and Glory as a starting place it smells amazing and is quite gentle 🙂 x
Good think you did not just walk away and not try it after tie first reaction! I have that happen often with skin treatments. I love scrubs and like you am not looking forward to winter dry skin season.
It’s so easy isn’t it to sometimes just stop with first impressions I guess blogging has show me to try and try again 🙂 x
I have really dry skin & I think the berry smell sounds good!
I hope something like this might help your skin 🙂 X
I love body scrub and am often always looking for new ones to try out. I would be willing to give anything a try once but if it did smell really bad like chemical than I could see not wanting to use it.
I think it’s always nice to try something – I’m happier with the scent now so I can only think it was due to it being closed up for so long. x
I think it’s fun that they give you a spatula to scoop it on. 🙂
You’re right about winter coming…and my skin gets dry and itchy, I think from the forced air heater. Anything that helps is ok in my book. Too bad it’s being discontinued. 🙁
Haha it’s so cool isn’t it!
Oh no 🙁 I hope this year your skin doesn’t get quite so dry and itchy 🙁 x
I love berry scents, this sounds lovely! I really want to try the lemon scrub from The Body Shop but I always think it’s too expensive for £12 a pot!!
Ohh I’ll have to look out for that if I ever have a spare £12 one shop we do have in Lichfield :/ lol x
I love body scrub but I’m sensitive to smells also. I like a nice light sweet fragrance. But this does look really nice. I’m feeling the winter dryness too already!
Oh no – that darn winter dryness why does it have to plague us so! x
I love body scrubs. It’s complete peace time for me which is seldom!
It’s so nice to relax in the tub isn’t it – scub, facemask and candles. x
Well, it certainly looks pretty! And I’m all for scrubs – they help with my dry skin issues.
They are amazing aren’t they to help get rid of all those dry bits x
I adore body scrubs! They always make my skin feel so refreshed and soft.
They are lovely for it – I’m sure its them + moisturisers that have made such a difference to my elbows. x
The scrub looks nice but strongly scented scrubs make me sneeze! I would probably have to pass on this one.
Ek not good – definitely one to miss for you then! At least I have helped rule it out lol x
I think it would be a great thing to try. I have tried other scrubs, but I have heard great things about these kinds of scrubs. I will have to check them out. Thank you!
Sugar scrubs are lovely if you can get one that suits the scents you like then you are onto a winner 😉 x
I love body scrubs, but first impressions are everything to me. If it doesn’t give me a feel good vibe when I first sniff it, then I probably wouldn’t use it myself. Glad it left your skin soft though!
It’s amazing isn’t it how much those first impressions mean to us 🙁 x
I love using body scrubs when I shower. I try to use one about once a week. And I love ones that smell like vanilla, coconut or other aromas of that nature.
Natural aromas are lovely aren’t they I am quite often drawn to lavender myself x
I’m a big fan of scrubs, but not a fan of leaky products in the mail or bad smells. I’d probably pass on this one. Thanks for the review.
It’s a shame when something leaks isn’t it – I’ve known it put me off something before which I probably would have loved otherwise 🙁 x
I haven’t heard about this brand. Yes, would love to try it.
I hope you manage to get to try them one day 🙂 x
Body scrub can be tricky. From scent to texture. You did a very fair and thorough review.
It’s such a personal thing isn’t it – and how we react to things as well is very personal as well x
Mmmm…I could use a scrub but I agree with you, I’m not one for strong smells.
It definitely makes a difference doesn’t it with how things smell it’s a shame. x
I love sugar scrubs but they can’t be over fragranced. I’m very sensitive to smells.
I never used to be but I’m starting to think I am becoming so – there is so often I say to the other half can you smell that and he says a little and it’s so powerful to me – either that or he has no sense of smell lol x
I prefer a sugar scrub that does not separate quite as easily as this one apparently did. As for the scent—my first choice would not be berry or fruity-so I guess this would not be the scrub for me.
At least I have helped with what no to buy lol 🙂 x
Bummer about the chemical smell. I hate when that happens. I normally like products like this, but since it’s discontinued, I guess I can’t try it, huh?
It’s such a shame 🙁 perhaps they are out of stock – I will keep an eye open and if it pops up again I’ll add in the URL 🙂 x
I have never used a scrub! Isn’t that weird?! Now after reading this and seeing the great comments about scrubs, I want one right now!
Definitely worth trying – the Soap and Glory one is AMAZING and quite gentle as a starting one as well 🙂 xx
I’ll remain tack with all time to support u. As,I’m vising your post time &again. Thanks a lot for the opportunities giving through your sincere services as &when needed.
Ohh I do like a good body scrub! I would give it a go but would probably have been put off too if it had leaked and smelt iffy!
It was such a shame 🙁 I had such high expectations for the scent x
