  1. I would absolutely love to give a scooter a try – where we live now is a long walk into town and it would be great on days when I’m tired to be able to wheel instead of walk. I can very much see this being good. Also I would share with teenager, who has a lot of hip difficulties and I can see it working well for her.

    1. Honestly I think it is such a good idea – I just don’t have the balance / ability for it anymore, if it had been nearer the start of my issues I think it would have helped so much, just to be able to take that pressure off a little bit is such a big thing.

  2. KnowI wouldn’t beable to manage that, I havea real bad back, and can’t stand for long, and I did say to the grand children I will get one for me, and My son and my partner, both said NO, you will probably fall and break your other hip. Thinkits a great idea Thank You, but its not for me

    1. Definitely it isn’t for everyone and please no hurting yourself! It’s one of those things I really think would have helped me when I was younger and not so bad so I hope it reaches someone it may help.

    1. It’s a really interesting way to try and take some of the pressure off when you are out.

  3. I am hoping one day to find a scooter with a seat for an older child. As my son is disabled he wouldn’t be able to stand on a scooter either. I think a lot of people with mobility problems could really benefit from a scooter seat!

    1. It might be worth emailing Micro Scooters and putting forward the idea to them. If enough people do it might be something like that.

    1. This one has 3 wheels so you don’t have to balance on it like you would a 2 wheeled scooter. Perhaps they need to make an adult one with a seat!

  4. What an interesting approach, I have a family member with fibromyalgia and I wonder if this would be helpful for her

    1. Definitely, I know in my early days when I just needed a little something extra something like this would have been wondered as it just takes that stress off a little. It’s not for everyone but it is a good idea.

  5. Well if I ever get to walk the canals of Litchfield, I am going to watch out for a zooming Ms Bailey!! Have fun

  6. Oh wow. I have a micro scooter for my son and I didn’t know they had so many different parts to suit different needs. That’s really cool. Hopefully it can benefit other people with disabilities

    1. It is fantastic isn’t it – I like how well thought out they are, I honestly didn’t realise so much thought had gone into the process of making them and how they can help people.
