Hair Jazz via Harmony Life Review
I mentioned quickly in my Lately I’m Loving post that we finally have a shower.
Honestly, with my mobility, it is perhaps the only thing I missed from the old flat.
Not having a shower has meant that I have really neglected my hair. I’d turned to just using 2 in 1 products as it was easier to wash out in the bath.
The lack of care made my hair very unkempt.
By nature, my hair is very frizzy, which isn’t helped by the fact I also suffer from hair loss so I always have a halo of regrowth around my head.
This was obviously exacerbated by my lack of proper care, something which I now want to fix.
Hair Jazz Shampoo, Lotion and Mask Set.
I was thrilled when Harmony Life got in touch and asked if I would like to try their shampoo, lotion and mask set from Hair Jazz. I thought this would be a great product to try and get my hair back on track a bit.
I have to admit that it isn’t a brand I had heard of before, so I was interested to find out more about them.
Hair Jazz offer a treatment that is said to help with;
- Helping to promote hair growth.
- Strengthening of the hair follicles.
- Helping to support a stronger hair structure.
- Helping the hair to shine.
It is also cruelty-free, suitable for all hair types and does not contain silicones or parabens. You just need to use it two or three times a week, in place of your usual shampoo and conditioner.
Active ingredients include soy protein, vitamin B6, keratin, egg shell extract and chitin which are supposed to nourish hair follicles, accelerate hair growth and reduce hair loss.
One of the things I found when researching the Hair Jazz growth accelerating products was that it has mixed reviews and seems to be a little like marmite.
Some people seem to love it and others seem to hate it. This did leave me a little on edge before I started.
I mean the last thing I wanted to do was make my already neglected hair worse.
To kick things off let’s talk about the scent of this set. It is hard to describe and something which I find neither pleasant or nasty. It’s slightly medicinal, or chemical-smelling.
It’s a scent that I can deal with and, OK it might not smell great, but I can get used to it after the first couple of sniffs.
I personally cannot speak about how well it works when it comes to hair growth, I’ve been trying to get rid of my split ends and so I’ve cut my hair a couple of times in the last few weeks (yes, I cut my own hair from time to time).
However, the condition has definitely improved. In fact, it has improved to the point where other people have started to notice with my Mum saying, “oh your hair’s getting back to a better condition isn’t it”.
I would suggest that you go easy on the shampoo. A little goes a long way and you can get up a lather with just a small amount.
I believe without the backup of the Hair Jazz hair growth mask and the hair growth accelerating lotion, the shampoo alone could be quite drying to the hair. So don’t be afraid to start small and work up with it.
The mask, on the other hand, is extremely moisturising and it is well worth sitting with it on for a few minutes before washing it off allowing it to work its magic.
These products include active ingredients including Soy protein, Vitamin B6, Keratin, Eggshell extract and Chitin, so do make sure you are ok with using these ingredients before you give this a whirl.

I am interesting in this product but the price is very high for a set. I don’t want to waste my money on a product that doesn’t work. Anyone have excellent results yet?
I found it worked well for me at least with the conditioning of my hair, it stopped being so frizzy and wild and looked so much better.
