Jason Cocoa Butter: Review
Jason is a brand I have come across thanks to blogging and I have to admit they have earned a place in my heart.
Having been around for over 50 years, Jason has come to build up a brand that prides itself on natural, honest products. All of which are free from all the nasties you may find in many products.
What’s more, they aren’t tested on animals and are all suitable for vegetarians.
Vegans should check the labels as some products do have animal-derived ingredients, such as beeswax in them.
Jason, Cocoa Butter.
I was kindly sent me a tub of Jason’s Cocoa Butter to try.
Jason Cocoa Butter is for use on both the face and body and is said to help:
- Combat the effects of punishing environments such as sun, wind and high altitudes.
- As a multi-functional cream, it is also highly effective for preventing stretch marks during pregnancy.
I shall be frank to start with, I sometimes have an issue with cocoa butter products due to the scent.
There are certain products made with it where I find the scent completely overpowering and I have been known to have to wash it off after use.
However, this particular version from Jason has a much more subtle scent to it. Which thankfully for me at least doesn’t linger after application.
As such I have personally, found that at least on my body, I can get away with using it.
Jason Cocoa Butter in Use.
The cream itself is non-sticky and non-oily.
It has a soft, velvety feel to it and takes little effort to soak into the skin.
However, it also manages to leave the skin feeling soft and moisturised for a long time after.
As someone who lacks moisture in their skin, I have often found if a cream soaks in quickly, it doesn’t leave the skin moisturised long term. This is definitely no issue with this cream for Jason.
I have found personally this has been working wonders on my winter weathered skin. All the dry patches that pop up thanks to the cold and central heating have been held at bay.
When it comes to usage a little really does seem to go a long way.
So if you decide to treat yourself, don’t go scooping a big lot out, start with a small amount and add extra as you need it.

I like a lot of nutricentre’s products and this one is something I would like to give a try – the fact its non greasy – I’d say it is somehow has its worth!
I’ve seen this before but I’ve never tried it, it looks like a great product. I would like to try it.
I love using cocoa butter, it always make my skin soft and smooth. I use it on my feet especially. Ill have to check this brand out for sure
It has been a long time since ive seen a Jason product, I assumed they were no longer a brand around. That said, cocoa butter is always something I have in my stash x
So, my husband’s name is Jason. He had a good laugh when I told him about this, he said I don’t want another Jason being rubbed on you. 🙂 Silly man. Anyhow, I have never heard of this product line. I love cocoa butter> I may have to check it out just because of the name.:)

I like cocoa butter but I do find it a bit sticky usually so I like the sound of this being non-sticky and it’s great that it’s not tested on animals.
Though the brand is pretty new for me, I love that the cream is non-sticky and non-oily which will go well with my skin type. I love anything with cocoa butter & I am sure this could give great results.
I’m not familiar with the Jason brand. I love cocoa butter creme so this would be perfect to add to my skincare collection.

Jason’s Cocoa Butter sounds like a great product. I will have to pick some up and give it a try. My hands and feet are so dry.

I bet this would work really well for my skin. It’s dry and chapped and cocoa butter always seems to help during the harsh winter months.
