My Top 4 Advent Calendars of 2017

My Top 4 Advent Calendars of 2017 Partylite Holland & Barrett Lookfantastic ASOS

It is October and all sorts of advent calendars have been hitting the shelves, I'm still yet to fully decide which one I will pick up for myself this year, but right now I have my top 4 picks and I thought I would share them with you.

PartyLite Advent Calendar – £19.95

After getting to try out PartyLite last Halloween on the blog, I became a great fan of how well the scents throw and the huge range of different scents they offer. I did actually buy their 2016 calendar for myself and loved it, so this December I am really considering doing the same again. After all, you get 24 days worth of tea light fragrance, with the calendar offering 2 of each scent across the days, allowing you to really try them out and know if they are for you.

You can buy the PartyLite Advent Calendar via your local rep or their website.

Holland & Barrett Natural Beauty Advent Calendar – £35.00

This is perhaps the first calendar that made it onto my list this year. Containing all natural beauty product such as Dr Organic Snail Gel, Beauty Kitchen Seahorse Plankton Facial Oil, Facetox and so much more this really is a calendar full of beauty products I think I would use. After all, it is really playing into my current love of trying out different skin care products, rather than including makeup items in colours I will never use.

The Holland & Barrett Natural Beauty Advent Calendar includes 12 different items, with a total RRP of over £70 for all the items included.

Lookfantastic Beauty in Wonderland Advent Calendar – £75.00

If you have a bit more money to splash out on an advent calendar then the Lookfantastic calendar may be right up your street. This one of a kind calendar includes 16 deluxe samples and 9 full-size items, of which 19 are completely exclusive to Lookfantastic. The fact this one includes good sized products and isn't in the £100s of pounds like some other offerings makes this one a perhaps on my list.

If you fancy trying the Beauty in Wonderland Advent Calendar* it is in stock now.

ASOS The Advent Calendar – £55.00

For those who love ASOS they have, this year, brought out their own calendar. Which includes a mix of makeup, skincare and haircare and includes brands such as Smashbox, Eyeko and Cowshed. As someone who has used ASOS for many years, I know this will offer great value and will include some great brands, making it a real “maybe” on my list.

The Advent Calendar from ASOS is on sale now.

So there are a few calendars I am thinking about getting this year if these don't take your fancy, but I have made you fancy something similar then please do check out the lovely Beauty Queen UKs advent calendar round up.

What do you think of these 4 calendars, do any take your fancy?

Beauty in Wonderland is my favorite. They all look like great advent calendars, but that one caught my eye. I imagine the products are pretty awesome!

  3. valmg @ Mom Knows It All

I have always been fascinated by Advent calendars. My favorites are the ones that are reused year after year and passed down, no products just characters, animals or something else meaningful.

  4. Amber Myers

These are some lovely advent calendars. Normally I just stick with ones filled with chocolate, but maybe I’ll branch out this year.

  5. Tomi C

My fave is the Holland & Barrett Natural Beauty Advent Calendar. Looks like a great way to sample some new products while gearing up for Christmas.

I REALLY want a posh calendar this year but I can’t find one that has a product behind every door I like haha. I’m too picky! I was really disappointed by the Asos one cause there were only a few bits I liked.

I’m obsessed with watching all the unboxings on Youtube. Having said that I haven’t yet seen the Look Fantastic one – it looks AMAZING! I’m watching an unboxing on my ipad now and day 1 has me excited already.

  10. Joanna @ Everyday Made Fresh

Those all look like great options! We always end up with the Lego Friends advent calendar since my daughter is currently obsessed.

  11. Ashley

I would pick the natural beauty calendar. Did you see they have a wine one now? I know lots of people who would want that one!

  15. Aishwarya Shenolikar

All these calendars are so pretty & amazing! I liked Beauty in Wonderland the most!! 🙂

  16. Patrick

Is it fair to ask why these calendars are so expensive? The first is priced fairly as our calendars are priced the same but after that…..just wondering its a cultural thing. Thanks for letting me ask.

    • Sarah-Louise Bailey

It depends on the content, for instance, the £75 has £300 worth of content so it is rather a bargain really. There are calendars that got up into the £100s for all different things, be it alcohol or beauty etc..

  17. Anne Yedlin

They all look like great Calenders and would be so hard to choose from. I think I would be pleased with any one of them.
