The idea of having a new kitchen is I am sure something that crosses many of our minds, but of course it isn't something that comes cheap. That said it doesn't have to cost a fortune if you look to work with what you already have or look to only change some items in the room.
However, if you are still struggling with ideas on what you could change in your kitchen, on a budget. I have put together some ideas for you:
Choose One Area to Change.
So you have a bit of money to spend, well how about having a look around your kitchen and choosing an area to spend that money on. You could look to change the cabinet doors, paint the walls or change the work surfaces. Just changing one of these areas could make a huge difference in how your kitchen looks and feels around you. Kitchen Warehouse has some lovely ideas to help you decide which area you might like to work on as well.
Switch Your Accessories.
As with any room accessories can make a huge difference, so why not look to change them? If you are working on a really tight budget it is amazing the things you can find on sale or in charity shops to just help make your home have that unique flavour we all long for.
Modify those Cabinets.
I spoke about how you could look at replacement kitchen doors in the first section, however, you don't have to look to fully replace. You could also look to repaint them or change the handles. While both of these options are simple and not too expensive, they can really make a difference to the overall look of your kitchen.
Create a Feature Wall.
Again if you don't want to go all out and fully redecorate, the creation of a feature wall can really add an extra depth to the room. You could use wallpaper instead of paint as this is one way to add a different texture. While something like chalk paint could make the wall useful as well as different.
Change Those Tiles.
If your splashback is looking a bit dull and dreary why not think about changing the tiles used. You could look to change them all, or just some. Making a feature of the area, rather than a bland space of single coloured tiles.
So there you have some ideas on how to change your kitchen around on a budget, but how about you, do you have any ideas on how to make your kitchen feel new, while not spending a fortune?
