Is 2018 your year for changing your home? Perhaps you are thinking about laying some new flooring, could I suggest perhaps amtico vinyl flooring, honestly we put down vinyl when we moved to the bungalow and it has made cleaning so much easier. Or you might be thinking of redecorating, have you seen the glitter paint on the market? Your walls could really sparkle!
Whatever big projects you may be thinking of there is always room to add in a quirky home item or two and to kick off 2018 here are some of my favourite items I have found around the internet of late.
I may have a bit of an obsession with cushions, I have to talk myself out of buying them at least a couple of times a week. The moonlight cushion* from Prezzybox though really offers something different, after all, it lights up and it is furry. What more could you want from a quirky cushion for your lounge or bedroom?
Housework can be a real chore, so why not bring a bit of fun to the occasion and I'm not sure you could beat this amazingly pink llama duster*. Sold as a desktop buddy, the llama can be straight in use and then be folded and stand up on its own little feet.
Home Fabric Pin Board
If like me you are always losing those important bits of paper, then this home fabric pin board* might be just what one of your walls is in need of. One of the best things about this kind of board is you can slip your more important notes between the crisscross thread leaving no pinholes in anything you would rather there wasn't.
Lily-Flame Bluebell Forest Scented Candle Tin
In my opinion, it isn't a cosy night in without a nice candle burning on the sideboard and I absolutely love the Lily-Flame range, they look so different with the uniquely placed pieces of wax on the top. The next one I would love to try is the bluebell forest scented candle tin*, after all, it sounds like it would smell wonderful as well.
So there are a few items you could perhaps add to your home for a bit of a quirky feel, what do you think of them, do any stand out to you as a must-have?
