Perfect Garden Ideas

As you might have guessed from yesterdays post I do like my garden. It is a place that while I have to be careful in the sun out there, I do like spending time in. So this year, I would just love to update and upgrade it a little.

If you just so happen to be thinking along the same lines as me, here are some ideas I have been thinking of lately.

Chimnea

This has been on my list for a rather long time and is something I need to think about where it would be safe to put one, as I'm not sure directly onto the lawn is the best idea. However, there are such lovely ones out there, I am sure I will soon have more ideas on which one I would love and where to place it.

Rattan Furniture

I've seen some absolutely beautiful shaded seating areas and day beds for outside. As I a said at the beginning I find the sun very hard to be out in, but something like the range at Fishpools, may just solve my issues and let me sit back and relax and work in the garden over the warmer months.

Lighting

It is very easy to lose a certain dog in the garden once it gets dark and while I wouldn't want to have anything bright around the garden. Perhaps some solar lights would go down really well at making it just a little easier to spot.

Flowers and Plants

We have quite a few bedding areas around the garden and I would like to make sure they all look nice when the summer months come around. However, I'm not very good at gardening so may need to call in some help to make this one actually successful.

So, there are a few ideas for things you could do with your garden this year, do you have any plans for your garden this year?

I’ve always had a garden with plants and flowers on the balcony of the places I’ve lived. If I can find a new one with a balcony, I plan to grow a small garden there. However that’s not a priority.

I am in the process of looking at outdoor furniture and accessories now. I have to consider my space and the amount of stuff I can put in it. But I do want to make this outdoor room as comfortable and stimulating as possibe because the time spent outdoors is limiting.
