Last week I brought you my first part of my Mastic Spa review which included some body and hair care, this week I'm bringing you part two in which I focus on some face care products from Mastic Spa which my Mum has been trying out for me.
Mastic Spa – Mastic & Vanilla Serdeep Hydra Serum
One of the useful things on the Mastic Spa site is they actually give each of their creams an age rating this serum is aged at 27+ it is an intensive moisturising serum that includes Shea Butter, Mastic and Vanilla, also including tea tree in it offering anti-bacterial properties as well, as those all-important hydration and nourishing properties.
Mastic Spa – Mastic defence
A 24 hour moisturising and rejuvenating cream aimed at 37+ year olds it contains ingredients such as Mastic, Ariousios Wine & Green Tea and has been described as a 6 hour Botox from clinical trials. It's best used on normal to dry skin and is perfect for minimising the first signs of ageing, it also helps restore radiance.
Your probably wondering right now why I haven't done my usual reviews under each picture the main reason is as my Mum has been using these in partnership with each other I would be very much repeating myself so I decided to do it a little differently by giving you a bit of an introduction before jumping headlong into the personal review.
Like the others I spoken of from Mastic these both have their own scents in the serum the vanilla shines through while the cream is very fruity with the grape and wine fragrances being the noticeable scents I will again warn you they are quite strong but it does die off within around 30 minutes of use and it isn't a nasty smell at all its fresh and fruity as my Dad said.
The serum and the cream worked really well with each other both soaking into the skin brilliantly and neither being at all sticky, she had intended to use them only at night but one morning she accidently used them which is a plus to us as she found out just how great they were as a makeup base allowing her make up to just glide on, on top.
As for the effects of the cream she found her skin was left feeling soft and hydrated, and lines and wrinkles had become less pronounced.
