In the cold of winter, I've often worried about Sal's paws as she walks over the frost or the snow, and once in a blue moon when the tarmac heats up enough worried about the damage the heat could be doing. I know dogs paws are made to stand up to walking on such surfaces much more than our bare feet, but surely having something to protect and look after them wouldn't do any harm and could in fact be a benefit?
So I was really interested when I came across Fou-Stick a completely natural moisturising stick for pet's paws that helps aid in the prevention of drying and chapping. Contains ingredients such as coconut oil, beeswax, and mango seed butter alongside natural peppermint and tea tree oil which not only scent the stick but help soothe and cool hot paws on sunny days.
The stick is travel sized meaning you can easily slip it into a bag or pocket before going out, as well as applying before leaving. Application is easy – just twist the tube and apply it. The formula is made to soak quickly into the paw and leave next to no residue so if you have an excited pup like my Sal you don't have to worry about a huge clear up operation after use.
I've been using the Fou-Stick Sally was sent for around three weeks now and I've definitely noticed a change in her paws as to the touch they are feeling a lot less ‘chapped' which is great – hopefully it's also feeling a lot more comfortable to her when she is walking about.
I shall definitely be buying another tube when this one comes to the end – and if you fancy buying yourself one just pop over to the Fou-Stick websitee where you can find out more about them.
Keep up to date with all the FouFou Pet news at their website and facebook page.
