I keep dreaming of packing up my suitcase and heading off on a trip, I'm not 100% sure where I want to go, but it wouldn't be too hot or too cold, it would definitely be somewhere I could get some winter sun and somewhere I could lay back and just get over the dark and dull of the UK. Of course, if you are heading away on holiday be it by yourself to a far-flung isle, with friends and family to have some fun at Disney or on a school trip to New York there is always room to get a few new essentials.
If you are heading somewhere warm and sunny you, of course, need to make sure you pack your sun protection*. There is a whole host of options from creams to sprays and rollerballs which offer differing amounts of protection so make sure you do your homework to know exactly what you should be buying to keep you perfectly protected for your destination.
A must-have of any holiday is new clothes, no matter if you intend to be spending most of your time chilling by the pool, or exploring the local history and hotspots, there is never a better reason then a holiday to get a few new things for your wardrobe. Personally, I am loving this Plus Jen Disney Minnie Sketch Oversized Top* as the first thing I might add to my holiday buys.
If you are heading somewhere sunny and no that doesn't have to mean hot, just think of the low winter sun we get right here in the UK. Personally, I wear sunglasses throughout the year so it is always nice to treat myself to a new pair and these Black Gunmetal Butterfly Sunglasses from Givenchy at TKMaxx.
One of perhaps the most important things when your travelling is luggage, take it from someone who has had luggage disasters in the past you want to make sure it isn't going to fall apart on you. If you've had your suitcase for a while and it perhaps seems like it could be replaced then there are some really nice ideas out there.
So there are a few holiday must-haves for 2018, of course, things like books, swimwear, and things to do need to be adding to the list just to name a few missing ideas.
What are your holiday must-haves?
