How cold has it suddenly gone? I've been hearing rumours that it has been snowing nearby SNOWING! So now is the perfect time to start preparing for the colder weather, grabbing a good game of thrones boxset, thinking warm thoughts and snuggling down.
Right now I'm sat under 3 blankets and have my dressing gown on to try and keep warm. Over the last few years, I've really started to feel the cold and I know if I get cold it's going to take me a long time to warm up. Thanks, Fibromyalgia.
So with the cold weather blowing our way here's a few ways to get ready for winter.
Get Cosy with Blankets
OK so you may not want to curl up under three like me, but making sure you have some ready is a must!
After all, you can't beat a blanket to help keep you warm on cold winter evenings.
Hot Drinks and Soup
When the weather starts getting cold. It is time to start thinking about warming ideas.
For me it's tea and soup, for others it could be hot chocolate with marshmallows, a good stew, or any warming comfort good they can think of.
Get Your TV Binge On
So Winter is Coming and there are a number of seasons to watch of Game of Thrones, along with a whole host of amazing TV shows returning to our TVs this autumn.
While on-demand allows you access to a huge amount of TV as and when you want it.
I guess the only hard thing, will be trying to work out just what you want to watch first.
Take Up a New Hobby
So with summer gone your thinking but I can't partake in my outdoor hobby anymore.
Unless your die hard and then I salute you!
So why not check out some new ideas of things you can do indoors, even in your own home? Perhaps I could suggest blogging?
Think About Accessories
One of the fun things about this time of year is you can really play with the accessories in your home.
Think candles and fairy lights, cushions and awesome mugs!
There are so many different items you can add to the home to make it feel a little cosier when the cold winds blow.
So there you have a few ideas of ways you can get ready for winter.
However, how about you, how do you get ready for winter?
