Earn Money with OhMyDosh!

Is 2018 your year to try and up your savings? I know for me I have already subscribed to Plum* to save small amounts of money, which it takes from your account, just small amounts you won't miss and tucks them safely away. I have to admit I am really excited to see how much it manages to save for me. Of course, there are many other ways to earn yourself a little bit of extra money and OhMyDosh!* is one of the latest ways to hit the market that will help earn you money as you go about your everyday life.

Who are OhMyDosh!

Opened to the public just this week, OhMyDosh! are a cashback website with a bit of a difference. You aren't going to be doing your shopping through this website. Oh no, you are going to be having a bit of fun instead. OhMyDosh! focus on a range of offers such as those from competition entries, money-saving additions, no spend offers as well as cashback on things like signing up to Amazon Prime, NowTV and Audible.

How Simple is it to use OhMyDosh!

One of the things that attracted me to the OhMyDosh! website is the fact it is so simply laid out. You can easily see what the deal is for, how much (if you anything) you will have to pay out first and how much cash back you will earn.

To take up any offer you need to click through to the offer page and make sure you read everything you need to do to earn you cash back. Once you have followed all the sets it can take anything from a few minutes to a couple of hours to show in your pending balance. From then on it is just a matter of waiting, as offers can take anything from 1 – 2 months to change from pending to payable (if you have used other cashback websites you will know this is quite common practice).

Once you have £10 you can simply cash out and enjoy the rewards.

What are my Top Tips for Using OhMyDosh!?

As with any cashback website you need to be savvy, for instance, the audible offer viewable in the above photo gives you cashback of £3.50 BUT will originally cost you £3.99. While this is a great trial offer for anyone who really wants to try out audible, it isn't going to be right for you if you know you are never going to listen to books.

You also need to make sure if you are signing up for a subscription or not. Some of the offers are for free or low costs “firsts”, in these instances you need to make 100% sure you cancel the subscription if you don't want to carry on before the first payment is made. However, you also need to check the terms as some ask you to stay a member for 24 or more hours. No point unsubscribing before you get paid.

Check out the small print. Some of the offers, especially in the competition area may end up to getting spam phone calls and emails, I personally have a 2nd phone I use for entering competitions. This means if I am having a bad day I can completely ignore that phone, while still knowing friends and family can reach me on the other. If you don't have a spare phone, you could always take advantage of the free sim card offers to get you started.

So How do I Sign up to OhMyDosh!?

It's simple I promise! All you need to do is head over to the OhMyDosh! website and sign up for an account, they just need to know your name and email before you can get going, although more details will be needed to cash out.

So what are you waiting for head over to OhMyDosh!* and get saving now!

If anyone can make money back and still find what they need to use for themselves or someone else. Who doesn’t like to shop and get back money.

  2. Everyday Made Fresh

I’ve never heard of this site before. I am all about saving money this year. We had major setbacks in 2017, and blew through our savings. I plan on building that back up, and then working on a 3 to 4 month emergency savings account that would cover household bills.

  3. blancanvalbuena

Sounds like an awesome rewards program…especially since a lot of brands and services I like seem to participate. Will have to check it out

  33. toastycritic

It sounds like an interesting way to make a little extra cash if you can keep organized about it all. I just don’t think i would end up doing well with the ones I had to cancel or get charged. I would end up being charged somehow.

    • Sarah-Louise Bailey

You definitely have to be savvy about how you use it and make sure you only sign up for things you know you will remember to unsub from, or don’t need unsubbing from.

  37. Caroline Hunter

Thanks for the information, I will check it out. I currently use Quidco but it takes months sometimes before your money is released from a transaction. And sometimes you buy something and the cashback is refused, very annoying!

    • Sarah-Louise Bailey

You can use them both as they are quite different (or at least I think they are) and you can always check which has the best offer if they do both show the same thing.

  38. Lorna Ledger

I will give the website a good luck, thanks for sharing it! All about £££ this year! I want a car 🙂
