Sometimes I fall in love with an item of clothing as soon as I lay eyes on it – this gorgeous Ingrid Knit Top from Darling is one of those. I have long had an infinity to black items – from trousers to tshirts and tops I'm always drawn to them. But an item being black doesn't mean it has to look the same as another as this gorgeous top shows.
If you are yet to hear of Darling they were launched in 2008 and since then have become an award winning, global brand. The vision of Nadia Moraes a London based designer and entrepreneur she had spent many years sourcing clothing for her shops she decided the time was right for her to start designing her own clothing.
Her clothing is said to be feminine, vintage inspired and quintessentially ‘English' with individual design showing through in each of her pieces marking it as that bit different from the rest. With a celebrity following this brand offers the chance to get quality clothing at an affordable price.
I was sent the Ingrid Knit Top to have a try of, made of 100% acrylic and featuring a 100% cotton lace detailing to the top and bottom it has fallen high onto my list of winter loves. The Ingrid Knit Top has obviously been well thought out offering a cosy top, that can be worn alone or layered either over a tshirt or below something else meaning it really is an item that can take you right through to Spring next year.
The Ingrid Knit Top is available in both black and white, in sizes XS (8) through to XL (16) and comes in at £45 if you want to buy one for yourself you can from the Darling Website where they offer shipping across the world.
