We seem to finally be getting somewhere with having our bathroom sorted, there was a bit of a mix up and we were accidently overlooked, (remind me to listen to my parents and Ash more often when they tell me to phone and check). However, it seems to be back on track now and I cannot wait to finally be able to have a wash without quite so much pain (who thought movement was something you take so easily for granted when it doesn't hurt or take a lot of energy).
Now in my dream world I might be thinking of having a whole bathroom make over, starting with one of these beautiful bathroom vanity set. Perhaps something that offers a good height, so I don't have to bend quite so much to have a wash, when it comes to the sink. Alongside some great storage to keep all those lotions and potions stored safe, sound and easily accessible, as well as a light and bright mirror to let me easily see when I try and put in my contacts. However, that probably isn't going to happen and it will most likely just be a new shower unit, but I can of course make small additions to make the place feel a little more fun.
Anorak – Teal Polar Bear Bath Mat – £12.99
I love a good bathmat (and of course the colour blue) and this one from Anorak at TK Maxx, is an absolute beauty (check out those polar bears) and not only does it look good, but as you're buying from TK Maxx, you're also saving yourself a bit of money and this mat, right now, has £7 off! I may have just had one fall into my shopping basket, whoops!
Culti – The Viola Room Diffuser £39.99
Another TK Maxx find is this diffuser, which has a huge £32 off right now and oh if I had the money, I would definitely have to add this to my diffuser collection as, bar candles, they have to one of my favourite ways to add scent to the home. Honestly if you haven't tried them, you need to give this way of home fragrancing a try, as it smells a lot more natural, than artificial alternatives I have tried.
Batman Superhero Bathtime Rubber Duck £4.00
I'm not sure what started off the silliness with Ash and I around rubber ducks and the bathroom but I think this Batman duck from John Lewis might just have to be added to the collection as I personally think he would look awesome sat on the end of the bath, with the others we already own.
John Lewis Croft Collection Bath Bridge – £40.00
I said before about us having a shower, well this is going to be placed above the bath, while I have a seat to keep me more stable and I think something like this bath bridge from John Lewis, might just offer a great way to keep things close at hand. Plus you can't complain about its look, as isn't it cute! Perhaps I need to rethink where the rubber duck is going to sit.
Of course there is a huge variety of items you can buy to add some finishing touches, for instance I definitely need to look at getting a nice shower curtain. Though I am somewhat torn between a duck shadow, Tardis or dog themed. Good job I still have time to mull that one over.
What do you like to use to add finishing touches to a room, are there any big or small changes you would like to make, to the littlest room of the home this year?
