Win with The Pen Company

The Pen Company LogoIf you are like me you might have a small obsession with stationary, as a child I remember loving choosing my new school pens and as I got older I spent hours each week writing to my pen friends. Sadly now my hands don’t allow for hours of writing and I have type most of the things I need to write down but for writing cards, lists and my diary I still like to have a nice pen. These days’ pens are sold to us everywhere and specialist pen stores just aren’t as popular but thankfully for people like me they do still exist and have evolved to not just be on the local high street but also online as well.

The Pen Company is a family run online business with a retail store in the historic town of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, they personally look after all orders and dispatch them from their own premises. They are open to helping you find the perfect pen for you – and if you find something they sell cheaper online elsewhere then you just need to call or email them.

One of the brands The Pen Company sells is Lamy – a brand that for years has been a favourite as a school pen due to their comfortable grip and to celebrate the start of the school year they are running a competition for a child to win enough Lamy pens for their whole class. The competition is open to all children under 12 years old and to be in with a chance to win they just have to colour in a fantastic picture of some monsters! The competition closes on the 30th September and you can check out all the information as well as downloading picture on The Pen Company’s Blog.

Lamy and The Pen Company of course deal with pens for all ages and were kind enough to send me on of the gorgeous Lamy Neon Yellow Safari Rollerball Pens to have a try of.
Lamy Neon Yellow SafariI’ve fallen in love with this pen I am always losing pens in my handbag you know the dark corners we all have that in fact are a actually a mysterious black hole (I’m sure pens are to handbags what socks are to washing machines) but this one is pretty hard to miss and it’s get one hell of a comfortable grip to boot!

These beautiful coloured pens are a limited edition for 2013 and in come in a ballpoint pen, rollerball pen, fountain pen and mechanical pencil and start at £9.90.
