Splish Splash – The Rains a Coming Down Fast.

This week it seems to have rained non-stop so to ‘celebrate’ the rain I thought I would share with you some fabulous footwear for those wetter days, meaning you can stay looking trendy while you splash around in puddles without getting your best shoes into a state.
As a child Wellington Boots and I had a love hate relationship, I wasn’t too fond of how they felt to wear but I did love jumping in puddles so they were something I had to have – to try and make me enjoy wearing them more my Mum used to buy me ones with patterns on. The ones I remember the most were frogs with two big yellow eyes peeking at you from the toe end! So it’s no surprise really that I still now head towards funky looking footwear.
Roxy - Winona Wellington Boot
Roxy – Winona £34.19
Roxy are a brand I often seem to come across and love, I love how these boots are just like someone’s taken them and doodled all over them (has anyone ever come up with that as an invention how cool would it be to doodle your own shoes?) I do love to do a good doodle and I’m far from a good drawer so my doodles are often simple, word based things which come out rather like the above boot.
Aigle - Chantelib Boot Print Wellington Boot
Aigle – Chantelib Boot Print £83.99
This is the kind of pattern I normally run away from but for some reason I like this one – I’m blaming it on the blue, I really am a blue girl so I am thinking it’s the colour rather than the pattern that’s drawing me in. I can see them being so uplifting, can you image splashing around in these in the rain – I doubt it could be classed as a ‘dull’ moment.
be only - Martha Wellington Boot
be only – Martha £40.99
I love these! The only downside for me is the colour – put them in the blue from the Aigle and I would be in heaven! The laces; ok they are only there to make them look good but to me it does the job down to a t. Plain and simple design that ends up with a stunning boot to look at. Fantastic.
What would be your perfect Wellington boot for this winter?
