Silly Sock Swap

Ok so I thought I would set a theme for the swap and see if anyone would like to take part! I’ve set the preliminary send by date as September 28th and then we could all link up a post second week of October.
The theme is ‘Silly Socks’ and the budget is £5, you can check what that is in your local currency here: http://www.xe.com/ucc/
This is an international swap but please just let me know if you only want to swap within your country and I will do my best to make that happen – if it’s not possible I will email you beforehand a let you know and ask if you want to swap or not.
To keep costs down you could look at buying and sending via online shops Etsy might be a fab place to look – I’ve just had a nose and found tie dye socks, crocheted socks, socks with beads on. Though the theme is silly socks so maybe you want to go for a sock creature (that really is a silly sock) or something with socks on it (sock jewellery anyone) the theme really is open to your interpretation, and the limit is your imagination.
If you do send online please pop your partner an email (or hand written note) to let them know their ‘sock item’ will be arriving separately.  If sending yourself please get a proof of postage.
Other than that just have fun!!
If you decide to join in I would love it if you grabbed the button to try and spread the word!

  1. How lovely this is!! I love socks! I am grateful I popped over to your facebook page and then this blog hop. (Always looking for weekend hops as my schedule is simpler on the weekends!) Grand to “meet” you!

  2. I really wanted to do this. it looks like so much fun. I’ve gone and spent all my budget for September (and it’s only the 17′th. ).
Sorry, someday I will be organized enough.
