Review: National Trust Garden Collection.

National Trust Garden
When I think of the National Trust I think of beautiful houses, gardens and walks. Day’s out to wonder and delight the whole family, and while I knew most centres have a gift shop as a way to create revenue what I didn’t know was they have a lovely range of toiletries and fragrance all of their own based around the smells you may experience while you visit their attractions.

The range I’m looking at today comes in a few different scents as well as the Garden, there is: Countryside, Woodland and Coast – each one is the meeting of two scents that epiphanies the given area.

Garden brings together Wild Rose and Camomile, which has been inspired by the famous garden at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent; the fragrance has been developed by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson.

Perfect for this Valentines as well as all year round these two scents merge together to form a beautiful floral scent, full of romance, a perfect reminder of that walk through a beautiful garden, hand in hand with your loved one.

While not normally a fan of anything containing rose I have to say I am really rather fond of this scent the way the Rose mixes with the Camomile brings together a really pleasing fragrance, a light – floral delight that is a pleasure to be surrounded by. The perfume is subtle yet long-lasting if you asked me for a price I would have assumed it be a lot more than the mere £19.50 for 100ml this perfume retails at.

To make the scent of the perfume go that extra mile than how about using it after the hand and body wash, completely wrapping yourself in the fragrance. I have to admit I’ve been using it as a hand wash to try to make it last longer as again it smells lovely and leaves your hands feeling thoroughly moisturised.

As well as a hand and body wash and perfume the range also includes a body butter, body lotion, body scrub, bar of soap candle and room spray.

Fancy getting your hands on either of these products then head over to the National Trust shop now where the
Garden Eau de Toilette costs £19.50
and the
Hand and Body Wash £9.50.

Or if you are looking for a bargain how about grabbing this Eau de Toilette and Body Lotion set which at £19.50 gives you the Body Lotion for free!

Have you tried any of this range from the National Trust, what do you think of it?
