MOU Boots

Once upon a time I used to run hot 24/7 and now although I often do my temperature is unpredictable meaning I do at cold times suffer with awfully cold feet, so getting some warm boots has been on my mind, a really nice pair don’t come cheap so it would mean saving so of course I’ve started my search early (well with English weather they could probably be warn most of the year round..)
MOU boots
“Born in 2002 in Portobello Road, London by Shelley Tichborne her aim was to create original, luxurious footwear as an antidote to the pressures of modern city-living, the brands name grew through word of mouth as passing stylists and buyers came across the brand. Now famed for being the comfort shoes of A-List stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz they mix together a rugged look with a maverick spirit.

At MOU ethical and eco-friendly production is a priority, with traditional hand-crafted techniques brought into the manufacturing process to help maximise the natural beauty of the leathers. Styles are created with comfort in mind and feature long-lasting soles and finishing’s.
MOU Boots Eskimo
On the left: Eskimo 24 limited edition – £225
On the Right: Flower Cowboy – £199
MOU Boots Classic belt and buckles and Prairie
On the Left: Classic belt and buckles – £239
On the Right: Prairie – £425 (this is a taller boot thus the size difference)

It amazes me the range of styles that MOU do, quite often with these type of boots they all seem very similar, but I think the four gorgeous boots speak for themselves in showing just how different this brand can be, each one stands out alone as an individual that you can love for so many different reasons. Saying that though I do think either flower cowboy or classic belt and buckles jump out at me from these ones as ones I could see myself wearing and loving for a long time to come.

Attention to detail shines through on the top two when it comes to noticing the quality of the craftsmanship, the flowers on the cowboy and the stitching on the Eskimo just shout to me as detailing well done, and help these boots stand out as a boot that will last you well.

You can grab yourself a pair of MOU from NET-A-PORTER.
Which ones do you love?

  1. I have to agree these boots are fab, I’m not a fan of these style usually, but these are excellent. The black one has to be my favourite but its a close call.
