The lovely people at Liz Earle sent me a trial size of there Cleanse and Polish to review. After having heard so much about it I was very excited to finally get to try it, my Mum is a big fan of it, and always has it on her Christmas and Birthday list, but I have to admit I had been lazy and not really given it a try myself.
For anyone who hasn’t heard about Liz Earles Cleanse and Polish here’s what they have to say about it, and a little about the company as well.

Me being me I forgot to take a picture of the pure muslin cloth that I was also sent along with the sample!
Now as I’m sure I have said before I have some of the most sensitive skin in the world, I was actually using a cleanser a couple weeks before I tried this that had left me with after spots and dry skin, and although I had mostly managed to get rid of this I had a large sore on the side of my nose that just didn’t want to heal at all! And was becoming quite painful, so as much as I was excited to try this I was rather nervous as to what might happen.
The cleanser has a lovely rich and creamy texture to it, and smells divine. A little really does go a long way with this, from the first try it felt gentle to my skin while still removing my stubborn mascara I had been wearing that day, and after my skin felt softer to the touch. There was no skin tight feeling.
I am so happy to say that a week after first using this my skin has no far showed any signs of yelping in pain and in fact my nose has started to heal (if that has anything to do with the Cleanse and Polish I don’t know. But hey it’s healing! In my boyfriends words ‘I don’t look like I have some awful infected nose thing’) I haven’t used moisturiser while trying this mainly because I wanted to see what the Cleanse and Polish was really like and my skin is right this second lovely and soft. I have experienced no spots and I’ve also had some wonderful complements on how refreshed and good my skin looks, can’t beat that!
I think I may have actually been converted and will be treating myself to my own tube to use ASAP!
