Lately I’m Loving – March

Lately I’m Loving – March

I have no idea where this month has gone, I meant to write this earlier in the month and it completely passed me by, but I guess as they say better late than never and somehow still in March – here is this month’s Lately I’m Loving (you can check out last months here).

Will Bees Bespoke – Pouch

Will Bees Bespoke

This gorgeous pouch from Will Bees Bespoke was sent to me as a thank you from the lovely people at Coast & Country Cottages. As you might have guessed Will Bees Bespoke is a Devon based company, operating in Salcombe and offering a gorgeous range of personalised products, from totes to backpacks and clutches, of course, these beautiful pouches.

All of the pouches made by Will Bees Bespoke have been handmade and are finished off with the initials of the owner having been embossed onto the leather label on the front, making them completely unique to you. Personally I am totally head over heels for mine and very surprised to find these handmade beauties come in at just £30 each.

The Bucket Book By Mickaël Nicotera

The Bucket Book 100 things to do before you die By Mickael NICOTERA

I was contacted on Facebook by Mickaël Nicotera to see if I would like to have a nose at his book The Bucket Book; 100 Things To Do Before You Die and I thought it sounds like an interesting catalogue of ideas, so why not.

Organised into nine different sections, such as Travel, Transport and Delirium this book incorporates the easy such as “have brunch” right on up to the how am I ever going to manage that “go into space”. Produced it paperback this book is perfect for tucking into your suitcase on your travels, allowing you to tick off those items as you go and even has your own space to add your bucket list ideas and doodles.

Coming in at just £3.91, this is a must-buy for any budding bucket list completer.

Godiva Assorted Chocolate Mini Easter Eggs

Godiva Assorted Chocolate mini Easter Eggs

These delicious mini Easter eggs, from Godiva, make playing “guess what chocolate you will pick2 so much fun! Nicknamed egg pops, this range contains plain milk and white chocolate eggs hidden amongst a range of special seasonal fillings which include speculoos mousse, raspberry cream and hazelnut praline.

If you have someone in the family who is a little less adventurous, I think that every specific colour marks a different type of egg, so once you know what lurks beneath the wrapper you could perhaps point them in the right direction.

These delicious little pop eggs can of course be brought from Godiva from now till Easter, along with a large selection of other chocolate gifts.

ihearthomes #happymail

ihearthomes #happymail

I was lucky enough to be sent one of the January #happymail boxes from ihearthomes to try and loved it so much I signed up. This is my first paid-for box and was the middle-level subscription which costs £15, rather than the basic level £10.

So I thought I would include it in the round-up so you could see another at a different level.

This box contained everything the £10 box did with the added extras of the LOVE hanging sign, small notebook and gift labels (there was also a pretty smile print which I somehow forgot to photograph that was included in all levels of the box).

I actually was so pleased with this box, for March’s box (which ships this week I think) I have upgraded to the largest level of #happymail which is £25 a month and perhaps your be seeing that in next month’s Lately I’m Loving.

EasyAcc DP100 Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker

EasyAcc DP100 Ultra Portable Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker

I love a good Bluetooth speaker and this one from EasyAcc has come in really useful of late. Coming with a battery that offers up to 25 hours of playback time it is useful for popping in your suitcase if you think you might want to listen to your music while you’re away.

It even comes with a cloth case that can fit both the speaker and the USB charging cable into it with ease, so you know just where to find it when you need it.

The controls are found to the top of the unit, while the grill wraps around the bulk of it, giving it a sleek and stylish look. I’m not going to pretend you can throw a party with this speaker, but for your average, everyday use and for a budget Bluetooth speaker this one definitely does a better job than others I have tried before.

The EasyAcc DP100 Ultra-Portable Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker is available to buy from Amazon* for £20 at the moment.

Un-Train Your Brain By Mike Weeks

Un-Train Your Brain By Mike Weeks

While I am yet to finish this book – I am totally taking it with baby steps right now, I am really interested and intrigued by the advice given within. Mike Weeks writes in such an easy to understand and follow way, I actually feel like I am getting an understanding of why this could help and how it could change me.

I often find self-help books antagonising like the author is looking down on you, but it feels as Mike is walking alongside you, boosting you and wanting you to succeed. Perhaps this is because he has been in the position of needing to boost himself, so knows a better way to get across the facts.

If you’re looking to un-train your brain you can buy Mike Weeks book now on Amazon* for £9.99.

Thorntons Easter Eggs

Thorntons Easter Eggs

I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again it is almost Easter and in this house, that means chocolate and lots of it! Sadly I was unable to attend an event Thorntons were throwing and as a sorry, they sent me this huge bundle of eggs, how awesome are they!

Sadly some have been already “stolen” by the parents and Ash has laid claim to a couple for himself as well, but I think poor little Harry Hopalot will have to be mine, though I might have to get Ash to smash him before I can take a bite!

If you’re on the lookout for a range of Easter eggs you can grab on the high-street (or online) then check out Thorntons this week.

Benefit Roller Lash

benefit roller lash

Can you believe that Roller Lash from Benefit has been out for a whole year, it seems like only yesterday it hit the shelves and got everyone talking.

Benefit being the awesome people they are sent me a lovely box of celebration goodies and I shall definitely be hitting the town with my roller lash mascara on this month. Thanks to them including not only a full-size but a travel mini as well, get ready to be curled and lifted lashes.

Oh and Ash says a huge thank you for the cake – he wouldn’t mind some of that every month.

Roller Lash costs £19.50 and what better month could there be to buy some in.

Pretty things from Hearts & Rosie’s

Hearts & Rosie's Items.

Of late I’ve found Instagram is a great place to come across small business, I love following their feeds and seeing what they have on offer. Last month not long after I set up the UK Bloggers Instagram feed, I was followed by the shop Heart’s & Rosie’s and instantly feel in the love with the items they sold.

They sell their items in Que Sera, Ongar High Street in Essex, but luckily for those of us who don’t live nearby they also ship out, so if you spot anything you like you only need to DM them on Instagram or via their Facebook page.

I originally wanted to buy the little sign on the left (£2), as I often need to remember to do more of what makes me happy, but on visiting the Facebook page I came across the dog chalkboard (£4) so that of course had to be added to my order as well. I shall definitely be back for more from them in the future.

So that’s it for this month, what do you think of this month’s items, does anything catch your eye?
