Keep Cool with Sandals.

Birkis and Papillio The summer seems to have finally graced our skies and with temperatures hitting over 30 I seem to have finally found a use for my summer sandals, now if only I could find them as they seem to have disappeared into the deep abyss I’m sure they will reappear just in time for winter to appear (always the way hey).

Earlier in the year I came across Birkenstock, Birki’s and Papillio all made by the same company and all unique in their own way – I had a lot of people comment on just how comfortable they are so I thought hey if I need a near pair why not try them out only trouble is I’m a bit stuck on which pair should be my final choice..

Papillio Helsinki £60.99 £39.64
I love the difference between the brilliant pink and black on these, the delicate flower pattern draws the eye and wow don’t they just POP.

Birki’s Maria £63.99 £41.59
I adore the colour differences on these ones, they are just so cheerful and happy looking – in fact wouldn’t they just bring a smile to your face if the weather was bad (great idea of a pair of wellies or an umbrella perhaps?).

Papillio Gizeh £57.99 £46.39
More subtle than the previous pairs these seem to be adorned in a multitude of pinks, purples and blues, meaning you could almost pretend to be walking on a rainbow.

Birki’s Fleur £57.99 £40.59
These are available in a plethora of different colours but I thought this mix of orange and kiwi carried on the summer time feel of this post – and I just love the different look of these – I think perhaps they could be my favourite?

What do you think of these four sandals, which one should I treat myself to?

I LOVE Birkenstocks and have been wearing their open back clogs for years. They are the only shoe I will wear aside from flip flops!
