Have you ever yearned to be able to design a charm necklace for yourself or a friend on a budget? Have you ever wondered how you could make a collection of letter charms, birth stone charms and symbols that mean a lot to you or the recipient, without breaking the bank?
Well J&S Jewellery might just have the answer.
I was given just £30 to put together a charm necklace from their website and I went over with the thought, that including the necklace I would probably be able to add just one or two if I was lucky.
However, I was so very wrong, managing to add 6 charms to my necklace and end up bang on the £30 mark.
To start building your necklace you need to choose a necklace style, length and plaiting, the charms you add to the chain will follow the same plating as the necklace. However, this won’t impact on the price.
Of course I went for silver as I often do with jewellery and to my satellite chain I added (from left to right); North Star (£4), Initial Charm Disk (£2.50), Chakra Charm (£4), Birthstone Small Crystal Star (£2.50), Angel Wing Right Charm (£3.50), Crystal Sun Charm (£3.50).
Personally I am thrilled with how the necklace turned out, I was surprised at how nice the charms were and how well made they felt, while the stones included sit well in each charm and don’t feel loose at all. When it comes to the overall look, the charms hang beautifully on the necklace, with each of them being easily to take off. As such I could change the set up day by day, making it look as though I had a lot more necklaces in my collection than I actually do.
If I was thinking of getting a friend a charm necklace, had a small budget, yet still wanting something with the WOW factor I would definitely look at getting them something from the J&S Jewellery website.
What do you think of this charm necklace from J&S Jewellery, would you treat yourself or a friend to one?
