So today marks the end of my two week trial. Which means finial weigh in and run down.
In total I’ve lost 5lbs! Mean a – 3 loss this week! Woohoo! So impressed with myself.
I’ve really enjoyed (most) of the food while I have been on Jenny Craig – I honestly was really surprised at how nice it was. Everything I didn’t like was down to personal preference rather than taste. I could easily live on it long term and be quite happy I was having a varied diet and enjoying the food I was eating.
Both weeks I had some naughty extras – first week I had a meal out including pudding and this week I’ve had a couple of chips, 1 chicken ball and an ice-cream. So for me at least I found I could still be a little naughty while losing weight.
It’s taught me a lot this last couple of weeks, I’ve learned it’s better for me to eat smaller portions more often and that really I can enjoy salad and veg once a day each I just need to find something I like that is ‘healthy’ to mix with
I have a couple of niggles that annoyed me a little – the food I received didn’t match the menus I got really excited about lamb hotpot on day 2 only to find I didn’t have it! I couldn’t find any week on the 4 week menu plan I got that would work completely so not sure what happened there. In the end I made two piles one of listed foods and one of non-listed and marked when I needed to choose one from the non-listed – it worked fine really. My other gripe isn’t really one at all – just that there was a couple of things I would have loved to have tried (which of course if I was to carry on I would get to try) the lamb hotpot, tomato soup, potatoes with rosemary and croutons (you get the picture ).
The Pro’s for me by far out way the Con’s.
I loved the food, I learnt a lot, and I felt so supported in what I was doing, and where the support comes in I can only say Jenny Craig have some great ideas meaning the support with be every more and it will be so easy to communicate with others on the plan, it’s all very exciting and that’s just the tip of the ice burg with it all, hopefully Jenny Craig allowing I might be able to keep you all up to date with it all.
To find out more about Jenny Craig pop to their website. To have a chat with an adviser give them a phone on:
0800 917 2812 – lines are open 8am – 8pm
(You can also request a free call back from their website).
I have my advisor to talk to later today so I’m planning a complete round up post in the next few days focusing a bit more on the support they provide but on top of that I’d love to know what questions you would like answering about Jenny Craig? What haven’t I covered over this series of posts? Then I can do my best to answer those for you.
*2 weeks of Jenny Craig was sent to me free of charge for my review. My review though is 100% honest.

Wow, 5 lb in two weeks, that’s nearly half a stone, well done!!
I would really like to know whether it’s a good diet for vegetarians to try? A lot of diets assume vegetarians live entirely on beans and mushrooms, which can be so frustrating. Also, way to go on the weight loss! You must feel skinnier, I know I do even after a losing only a couple of pounds!
Thank you – I shall have a look into that one for you – I think I know the answer but I’d like to get a bit more information to try and be a little more informative for you xx
Glad it went well & losing 3lbs this week WELL DONE! It was interesting to follow you with this diest plan & to hear what was good & bad about it. Things llike that you don’t get from the normal literature they produce. So little & often is the key! A bit like grazing all day long! I’ve lost 2lbs this week, but I’ve no doubt it will be back on next week after them meal we had at a family wedding last week! The lemon curd pie was so delish I had to have two slices! shhh I know, but my lovely nephew was getting married. But now working towards my eldest sons wedding in August!. xx

Well done! It’s so hard to loose weight, I know.
