If you follow me on twitter you might have noticed the odd
Jenny Craig tweet, hinting at the fact I am back on the diet and you would of course be correct, in fact I’ve been back on it for a month now, but due to a very hectic June full of holidays, I haven’t really got around to blogging about it or really getting back into it ‘properly’ until now. I did try my best to keep on top of it honestly. But my first month ended up a bit like this:Week 1: -2lbs
Week 2: 0
Week 3: 0
Week 4: -2lbs
I’m proud of myself for getting 0′s in weeks 2 and 3 believe me with what I ate it could have been a lot worse. I guess the fact I only feel off the J.C. wagon some days helped keep away the gains, after all I did frequent the pancake house at Center Parcs twice, along with a takeout of pizza and wedges and some other ‘treats’ in the 5 days I was at Center Parcs during week 2.
Week 3 brought forward some other struggles – my inability to cope with getting upset, yes I am an emotional eater, which was brought to the forefront when I became rather upset, and took to the comfort of eating. Getting over that particular bridge I think is going to take some work, but I guess the first step is admitting that I do have such a problem and having done that at this ‘early’ stage has to a be a plus.
From my starting weight I am now officially a stone down. In my mother’s words:
‘Yes I can tell it’s coming off, I’m starting to see the dimple in your chin again.’
Yup just what everyone who is losing weight wants to know that their bum chin is returning! Thank you Mum.
I shall be sure to keep you up to date with my Mum’s commentary of my bum chin…In more exciting news Jenny Craig have added a fantastic new area to their site for members called ‘My Jenny’ I have been lucky enough to have had a preview of it before it went live to all last week and I can honestly say I think it will be a huge help to all who join up. It’s a place where you can keep track of your progress, share and find recipes and talk to others on the plan. They even have set up a live consultant chat on a Friday, sadly I missed the first one due to a hospital appointment, but reading back through, I can see it has the amazing potential to become a fantastic tool to all, a time where you can chat to your peers and an experienced staff member, helping build an even bigger than previously offered support network, leaving you feel far from alone, which I have to admit can often be a crippling feeling when it comes to dieting for me.
I would love to know if there is anything I can help you to understand about the Jenny Craig diet, any questions you would like answering?
*Jenny Craig is provided for me free of charge in return for me logging my journey with them. This does not effect my opinion of it because I only eat things I like, and I would run a million miles from something I didn’t.
Found you via BBU hop. How are you finding Jenny Craig overall? I’m on WW and lost just under 3 stone so far, i love diet/food blogs they really motivate me. Have followed you on GFC. x

I know just how hard dieting is, so well done on losing a stone, I’m also a emotional eater. It’s so hard not to reach for a bar of chocolate or the biscuit tin sometimes. Good luck losing the rest. xx
I’m stuck in fatigue area at the moment and all I want to do is eat junk I don’t know why but it just seems so nice while your popping it in your mouth and chewing but after I just feel bad for eating it! x
*waves* HEYYYY!! Welcome hope you enjoy my humble blog
. I love Jenny Craig for me it’s really working, I can’t cook from scratch due to my fatigue quite often so having to just heat things up is fantastic. Congratulations on your 3 stone loss!! Hopefully I can join you at that much one day
Popping over to you now xx
Well done on your weight loss so far. It’s so difficult to get back on track if you have one or two weeks off, but you did! Life is never smooth and going back to dieting is hard but your determination pulled through.
I’m just the same. And the trouble is the more junk you eat the worse you feel, then you eat more junk “to feel better” but it doesn’t work. So glad you’re joining in on our Sunday weigh in, hope you have a good week. xx
Well done on your weight loss! I wish I had your willpower.
