I first came across this tag when the lovely Lanaya started it over at her fabulous blog Rasing Reagan but as anyone who knows me will testify I’m slow at getting anything done so yesterday the equally lovely Jessica from Boys Oh Boys tagged me and I thought I better get my behind in gear and get answering the Christmassy Questions!
1. What makes Christmas such a special holiday for you and your family?
I love the fact that everyone actually sits down and spends sometime together, people aren’t rushing off to do this or that every few minutes, even if it’s just due to the over filled bellies it really is nice to sit down and enjoy being in each other’s company. We always make time to watch Doctor Who
2. Were you told the truth about Santa Claus by your parents or did you find out another way? And..do you plan on lying to your kids (if you have them or plan on having them)? Oh yes…I went there.
Haha long standing joke in our family, at 2 / 3 years old I told my Mum I knew Santa wasn’t real, and she couldn’t convince me otherwise so she told me that it was a game parents played with their children, and I couldn’t tell anyone – I never did as far as I know either, and I always played along. Though I later found out a few of her friends couldn’t believe she had actually admitted to me I was right!
If I ever have kids I would definitely ‘play’ the game I’d probably go all out as well – I’ve love an elf on the shelf!
3. Real tree or Fake tree?
I think real trees are lovely but I always go for a fake, needles and paws don’t go well, plus who wants to be finding bits almost 1/2 a year later, plus I do find it sand that it just dies after Christmas is over 
, I know it’s only the tip of a very tall tree (at least the ones we used to get where) but still.

5. What is your favorite Christmas movie to watch? Favorite Christmas song to sing or listen to? ( I know…technically two questions)
I lovvvvveeeeee The Santa Clause have to watch that every year, as a kid it was always A Muppets Christmas Carol and Miracle on 34th street and then at one point I went through a routine of having to watch Clueless on Christmas Eve (no idea why but hey I’m odd like that).
I have to say I’m not sure what my favourite Christmas Song is Slade – Merry Christmas always come into my head though around Christmas, and The Pogues – Fairytale of New York.
