From the Isle of Man comes Island Naturals a small company dedicated to making products for themselves and their customers that are environmentally kind and natural.

All Island Naturals products are of course natural and they are working on making them more and more organic.
Island Naturals

They kindly sent me 4 products to have a play with.
Organic Refined Shea Butter – £2.95 50g Tin
Orange Flower Water – £5.95 for 250ml
Organic Sunflower Seed Oil – £5.75 for 250ml
Lipbalm – £2.45 for 10g

I was really excited to try the Shea Butter, my elbows were really bad when it arrived and I need a fix that would start to work quickly and thankfully this did, I put a smothering on my elbows morning and evening and it had them feeling like new soon enough. I’ve saved it for using on the dry patches, it’s definitely not something to use all over best used in small concentrated areas, maybe kept by your bedside or in your purse, but it really is a great healer.

The orange flower water is a best used as a toner for oily skin, it is said to soothe and clam problem skin; it is also said to help calm the nerves and often used to settle hyperactive behaviour. This toner fitted nicely into my routine I am beginning to form, it didn’t break me out and it did feel very soothing to the skin – I could definitely see myself adding this into my routine as a permanent toner.

The Sunflower Seed Oil is moisturising and softening and often used in massage, due to its light texture and easily absorption into the skin. I used this after coming out the shower; in the past I’ve not been one for using oil, but as with a number of other things I have found out over the past year it’s not all how I imagined it to be, and this is another body oil that has proved that my perception of ‘all oils are..’ was again wrong.

The lipbalm contains beeswax and natural oils. I have to say one of the first things I went ‘natural’ with was lipbalm so it’s always nice to try another one as I have to rotate after using one to another or my lips quickly get used to it. This balm for me has worked well – I’ve found its left my lips feeling hydrated even the following morning after putting it on at night.

I’ve really enjoyed trying out this brand I love how committed they are to their cause and how friendly they are as well. If your after any sort of new body or face item I really suggest you give them a look as for all natural products they sell at an amazing price, and they really are good quality as well.

Have you ever tried Island Naturals, what do you think of them?
