HarperCollins Books this Christmas + a Competition.

When I was a child we had a small tradition, presents in the morning, off to my Grans for lunch then when we got back home in the evening some more presents would magically have appeared under the tree, always placed carefully one on top the over then tied with a ribbon in a beautiful bow, and the items were always shiny new books. I would devour them in days, enjoying each moment where you were removed off into a new world filled with magical creatures, or forming a friendship with someone who lived in such a different place. My imagination was vivid I lived each and every moment with the characters, I guess in some ways when reading I still do.
When HarperCollins contacted me about featuring some of their kids’ books on my blog I was so tempted to shout yes and grab myself some of their fantastic teen books, yes I maybe an adult and while I enjoy such adult HarperCollins books such as ones by Cecelia Ahern, Dean Koontz and who could forget Tolkien, I am partial to some of their authors aimed at younger audiences like Louise Rennison, Dr Suess, Michael Morpurgo and of course one cannot forget Michael Bond – Marmalade sandwiches anyone? And they aren’t one to let down this winter either with some fabulous titles to fill bookshelves this season.
How about one of these:
Michael Morpurgo – A Medal for Leroy | Rachel Bright – Walter and the No Need to Worry Suit | Derek Landy – Skulduggery Pleasant: Kingdome of the Wicked | The Hobbit Annual 2013 | Jackie Fench – Diary of a Christmas Wombat | The Octonauts: Explore the Great Big Ocean | David Walliams – Ratbuger | Hello Kitty Annual 2013
So you may have noticed that I turned down some books? Well my loss could be your gain – as HarperCollins have agreed to let one of you walk away with a bundle of books specially picked to suit the age of your child. (I want Dairy of a Christmas Wombat though – he just looks so cute!).
All you need to do is let me know what your child’s favourite book is.
As normal the giveaway will be run via rafflecopter all you need to do is leave me the answer of the above question in comments (please remember if your rafflecopter and comment name differ to leave me your comment name in the ap otherwise I can’t match you up!) This is the only mandatory entry all others are optional just in case you fancy some extra chances! The giveaway is open to the UK. Please remember to check the full T&C at the bottom of the rafflecopter application.

*Books will be provided by HarperCollins free of charge to the winner, no other payment or gift was received by myself.
