Review: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle

Hi guys! My name is Aly & I run the blog Wonderland Beauty! I blog about a little bit of everything, my main passions being beauty products, music, & art. I also blog about my life & what I do on a daily basis. I am so excited to have this chance to share a post with all of you on the amazing Life in a Break Down! Before I get ahead of myself, I want to give a huge thank you to Sarah, who has been so amazing to me ever since we first met on Twitter, & for letting me guest post on her amazing blog. She has been extremely kind to me & I am so lucky to call her a friend.

Anyway, on a more superficial note – do you guys hate taking care of your hair as much as I do? I mean, seriously! I have thick, naturally dark brown hair that I dye black. I also bleach & dye sections of my hair a pinkish red color. That means I am constantly dying, bleaching, straightening, shampooing, conditioning, etc – & I hate it. I hate taking care of my hair because it’s just so hard to work with. If I don’t have the right shampoo & conditioner, my hair ends up an extremely frizzy, wavy mess. (For the above pictures I straightened my hair so it doesn’t look so frizzy. I also don’t have any makeup on….shield your eyes, people!!) I’ve never been able to find the perfect conditioner. I go back & forth between shampoos, & my current favorite is Herbal Essence Tousle Me Softly. But for conditioner….I really have never found an excellent one. I used to mix a little regular conditioner with the deep conditioner I get with my hair dye, but it’s not enough moisture for my hair, & the deep conditioner tubes are small & therefore, go very fast. Since I dye, straighten, & bleach my hair – it’s very dry & sometimes very unmanageable. That’s why I ended up picking up the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle after hearing so many raving reviews.

Let me just say….. AMAZING. I seriously LOVE this deep conditioner, & I use it every time I wash my hair, in place of regular conditioner. It makes my hair so silky smooth & soft, & really shiny! Since my hair is dry, I never really have been able to say that I have ‘shiny’ hair or even ‘soft’ hair, but now I can! This conditioner is simply amazing, & I think it would work wonders on anyone, but specifically the people that think no conditioner in the world will ever be good enough for their crazy hair.

The way I use it is to just use my regular shampoo & then rinse the shampoo out. Then I put quite a lot of this conditioner all over my hair, concentrating on the ends & middle of my hair. (The roots don’t need asmuch deep conditioner since they won’t be as dry & too much conditioner on the roots can cause your hair to be flat.) I then let this conditioner sit on my hair for three minutes (give or take a few since I don’t actually time it) while I stare at the wall. Then, I use warm water to rinse the conditioner out, & then a little bit of cold water after that. TIP: Using cold water after warm water seals in whatever job your shampoo & conditioner will do, as well as making your hair more shiny & smooth.

I really love how this conditioner smells, also. Kind of amazing! It’s smells like a mixture of vanilla & the spray they always put on your hair at the hair salon. It also stays in your hair until the next time you wash it, so the smell lasts & lasts!

Overall, this is an amazing product & I am holding onto it with my death grip! I would HIGHLY recommend you go give this a try. I know it gets a lot of great reviews, but I never expected to actually get this product & like it – I have no idea why. I hope this review urged you all to get this conditioner, because trust me – it’s amaaaazing!

Thank you for reading, & again – thank you Sarah!

  1. I also have thick brown naturally quite frizzy hair- I’ve used the 3 minute miracle conditioner every week for the past couple of years (when I remember to get it!) and it really is good stuff! Lovely well written blog post, great detail :)
