If you follow me on Twitter or are a friend on Facebook you may well have seen me raving about this product, I have been bitten by the Halloween bug and these Roses are partly to blame.
In more ways than one I have to say I have never had a bunch of flowers quite like these – they are gorgeous.
This new way to enjoy roses come from Interflora, where they have combined the beautiful look of roses with a spooky twist to make them the talk of your Halloween this year, no matter if you’re planning a party or spending the night in with a spine chilling DVD to watch these can be the centrepiece of your table.
During daylight hours you get to enjoy them as ‘normal’ white Avalanche Roses. (Though as you can see from the photos have a slight green tinge to the end of the petals but I can forgive that as I know it helps create the spooky after dark effect, I can’t help but adore.) But when the lights go out the mood around them changes all together.
I obviously knew they were tagged as ‘glow in the dark roses’ but I expected a dull glow if anything – not this gorgeous spooky hew that helps you pick out every petal and if you look closely enough at this picture you might even see some of the leaves just slightly lit up in the background.
The roses arrived on Thursday and at the time of writing they still look as amazing as day one, they have opened more of course but they seem to be keeping just as well as normal roses, which again surprised me, I somehow expected the glow in the dark substance used to deteriorate the roses in some way.
A limited edition release from Interflora you can grab these roses from today until the 31st with prices starting at £44.99 for 12 stems including next day delivery if you buy online, or check out the fantastic Click and Collect service they offer such as these fantastic florists in London.
I’m looking forward to enjoying these more over the coming days.
What do you think of these spooktastic roses, would you like to enjoy them in your home this Halloween?
