As a glasses wearer I have in the past tried out contacts, I found them to be very useful on many different occasions, contact lenses have become a hot choice over glasses to many these days, partly due to many advances in optical technology which means there is now a wide range of lenses available to people. This though means it so important to research and make sure you are selecting the right type of lenses for you. One option many people go for (as I did myself) is the daily disposable contact lens – there are many benefits from choosing this option.
Maybe out of the benefits the one that jumps out at people the most is the fact you do not have to clean them, cutting out the whole tiresome act of sorting and cleaning your contacts daily; at the end of the day you simply pop them in the rubbish.
Another advantage is the chance of irritants getting into your eye is greatly reduced, even after the cleaning of a traditional lens it is still possible to transfer things such as dirt, oil and hair that have come into contact with the lens while in storage into your eye. Also containers can on occasions become infected with bacteria and other dirt which can result in infections of the eye. However with disposable lenses this is not a problem.
If you are a current wearer of non-disposable lenses can you remember how they felt the first time you wore them? The clean and fresh feeling? Of course they now don’t feel so great, but with disposable lenses you get this experience day after day.
Disposable contact lenses are of course not made for long term use, and as such they are able to be made from thinner material than long term lenses, which is yet another reason they are more comfortable. The thinness also means you are less aware they are even in your eyes. All these reasons and more make disposable lenses a great option for many wearers. If you think disposable contact lenses might be right for you, head on over for more information at the get lenses website.
If you are going to put contact lenses in you eyes they have to be the cleanest of the clean and disposable ones look to be better than non-disposable.
Love Love Love the daily disposable contact lenses – I wish they had been available 25 years ago at an affordable price – the cost of solutions over the years has been mind blowing and after the 2nd bout of conjunctivitis within weeks of each other 6 years ago (and by this point I was a total clean freak and knew how to look after the lenses) I made the decision to try dailies and I have never (ahem) looked back!
