I start with an admission until just over a week ago fatboy was just the company that makes big beanbags – that was until I had an email from Amara which introduced me into a whole new world of fatboy products a range which contains such other delights like hammocks, outdoor lamps, picnic rugs, cool bags and parasols alongside it’s most famous beanbag kin.
Originally born back in 1998 as a beanbag for the 21st Century by Jukka Setälä a Finnish designer the brand was adopted in 2002 by Dutchman Alex Bergman who saw the potential of the beanbag and turned into a brand, that now sells in over 50 countries worldwide and even includes a US branch – they only question is what will be added to the Fatboy family tree next.
Light, hammock, parasol, huge beanbags – what else do you need to relax with?
There is one thing I am yet to mention from the Fatboy family though and it will probably come as not much of a surprise to most of you this item is something for animals..

FATBOY CAT AND DOG BEDS!
I don’t know if I feel in love with the dog or the bed. But either way how fabulous are they – what pampered pooch (or kitty) wouldn’t love to snuggle up tight each night on a Fatboy all of their own?

Infact while I’m here I need to include a little plea to the lovely people at Amara from Sally.
She would very much love a Doggielounge Marimekko in Red, but sadly she has noticed you only have them in Small, and she rather thinks her behind might just be a little bit big for that size. So she is also quite taken with the Doggielounge -Red, as it does have a nice bone on the front (and what dog doesn’t love a good bone) and there is definitely a large size of that one so she is sure she will be able to stretch right out on it.

I’d go for a hammock, no doubt I’d love to have one of those dreamy porches–with a hammock, tropical plants in the corners and lots of pretty flowers It’s too hot here for all of that without having the porch covered… sun, back up a little, please. I also love the dog beds! Those are always useful!
I’d love a garden like it is as well how amazing would it be – then I’d have that whole set up, and make the OH do BBQs have all the friends round, relaxing on fatboys and playing games x
Yay glad theres so much love for the dog bed (I do love it as well) I think I’m going to get Sal one when I move as well as her moving in present, she has lots of beds but hey what dog can’t do with another xx
We have a fatboy giant outdoor beanbag which Mimi loves to sleep on! We’d love a fatboy hammock for next summer for sure, and Mimi would love a doggy one, but it’s a bit extravagant – £60 for a dog basket! I like to spoil her don’t get me wrong, but that’s a little ott even for me!
Hahaha. tell Sally it’s not Christmas yet.
I’m sure my cat would love one of those doggie beds!

Sally loves her beds as well – don’t think there is a better way to pamper a pooch than give them somewhere soft and warm to rest. x

I love that dog bed! And the pattern is adorable. My dog already has a tempurpedic bed but I may have to get this Fatboy one!
