4 Easy to Do Office Hairstyles for 2013

The office is a place to work and make a living. Some employers issue a strict, smart dress code whereas others can be fairly more relaxed. The point is; just because it is a work environment, it doesn’t mean that you cannot have fun with your attire.
It is possible to look smart and chic at the same time; and one way to achieve this look is with your hair. Play around with different styles and before you know it, you will feel better about yourself because when you look good, you feel confident.
Now we know what you are probably thinking; I only have a limited amount of time in the morning to get ready. From getting the kids up, washed, fed and dressed, to catching the early morning tube/train; it is no wonder why some women find it difficult to follow the latest trends.
That is why we have put together four polished, easy-to-do hairstyles that are trouble-free to imitate.

1.side-swept ponytail Side-swept ponytail

This look is great for straight hair and is really straightforward. Simply apply a shine serum to the roots of the hair and section out a circle of hair on the crown, and lightly back comb the underside. This will give you the lift that you need.
Create a side parting and leave some hair hanging on one side, and loosely brush the rest back into a neat pony.
Try to secure the ponytail with a hairband that matches your hair colour, and secure any loose strands with hair pins.

2. Side braidside braid

This look is both sophisticated and perfect when you don’t have the time to wash your hair. It is ideal for long hair, and you can achieve the look by applying some dry shampoo to the roots.

Create a side parting and pull your hair around to the side, opposite the parting. Divide the hair into three parts and then braid it right to the end, securing in with a hairband that is the same colour as your hair.

3. Zigzag partingzigzag parting

This look is great for short hair and to achieve the best result, try to blow dry your hair with a round brush for added volume.
Simply use a comb to create a large Z-shape that is diagonal across the crown of your hair. We recommend you to start at the front, and then work backwards, criss-crossing as you go.
And then voila- just use some hairspray to keep the hair in place, and off to work you go!

4. Bunbun

This look is ideal for the ‘lazy girl’ that just does not have the time to spend hours on her appearance in the morning; and who can blame you?
You can achieve this look in a matter of minutes, simply by combing your hair back into a pony, and then wrapping it around itself into a bun. Secure with some hair pins or a hairband.
For extra volume, try backcombing a circle of hair on the crown of the hair beforehand. If you have short hair, you can still create this look but your bun will be slightly smaller.
