A few days ago I was bullying my best friend into choosing a pair of shoes (yes I am a bully in this instant I wouldn’t leave the poor girl alone till she told me which pair she wanted as I wanted to treat her) anyway in between me poking her on facebook, sending her texts and leaving comments I ended up nosing around at Converse they are on my ‘lust’ list – I used to own a few pairs but well I shall not think what happened to those poor things.
To me Converse are the best high-tops you can get and if you haven’t tried them well you have no idea what you are missing out on. These particular pairs I want to show to you today caught my eye really for Ash – sadly though his size has run out so we had to pass them on by this time.
All Star – DC Superman Krypton RRP: £49.99* (in the sale at present for £34.99). Ash is a Smallville addict I have to admit never having watched it really till we moved in together, the last series was OK though, but I do remember watching Superman on a Saturday as a child with my parents.
All Star – DC Batman Gotham RRP: £49.99* (in the sale for £34.99) Batman is very now what with the release of The Dark Knight Rises, it really has come a long way (in film/TV terms) from his TV days where the POWS and BAMS were shown on the TV.

With the Batman theme in this post I don’t feel as if I can set this live without mentioning the atrocity that took place in Denver, Colorado US, Thursday night / Friday morning and just send well wishes to the people effected by such an awful act, and to all who sadly lost their lives may they rest in peace.

I’m afraid Converse have gone down a bit in my estimation. My hubby won a prize with them in March/April time, and they still haven’t sorted it out for him!

My daughters love their Converse, I find them too flat to wear & they give me awful back ache! I remember having a pair in school, I was so uncool in them, but then again I was never one of the “cool” people, but I loved them & wrote all sorts all over them, but sadly they ripped & eventually Mother threw them away as I still kept wearing them. LOL.
Oh no I hope you manage to get it sorted have you gone to Ed Mutton about it at all? He might be able to get it moving for you. xx
I know a lot of people who have that problem with flats, I think as I’ve never really warn high heals a lot I’ve got away with it *touch wood* my feet give me enough problems in other areas.
Ah it’s no fun being ‘cool’ anyway I always like being just myself. I went into home schooling after being in hospital for nearly a year and to make sure we had something everyday it was done at a local center so there was just a few of us, I was the ‘goth’ then we had the ‘townie’ and the ohh the name escapes me now, and we would walk through town arm in arm, it must have been the oddest site to everyone else.
