Earlier in the month I joined up with a coffee mug swap hosted by the lovely Dalayne from Pointing Up and Britt from Yellow Umbrella. The idea was simple you got given a partner but you couldn’t talk to them you had to stalk them, via blog, twitter or facebook find out what they liked then send them a mug that you thought represented them.
My lovely partner turned out to be Lucy from Leopard Print Mummy - we actually received each other as partners (this wasn’t a definite so I found it a lovely extra treat that I had been able to treat the same person who had treated me).
All I can say about the mug is WOW – it’s totally me, she couldn’t have got it more right! She stalked me to perfection (YAY for good stalkers). Some of you actually might have seen this mug already as I’ve tweeted and popped it up on facebook I just couldn’t wait to show it off.
Anyway enough of my rambling for all of you who haven’t seen it here it is!
Sqqquuuuueeeeee (yes that’s the noise I made when it arrived and still the noise I make when I see it now lol)
I adore the 3 pictures Lucy decided to use; they really are three of my favourite.
If the mugs weren’t enough a couple of days later this arrived:
I’m honestly thinking of having this popped into a frame – it’s a fantastic representation of some of the madness and more normal things we get up to.
I actually cannot put into words really how much I love the mug and card. A huge thank you is needed to Lucy for getting it so right and to Dalayne and Britt for holding the swap. It was so much fun to partake in, and a great way to get to know other bloggers!
If anyone reading this is hosting a swap please leave a link as I would love to find some more to take part in, or if you fancy taking part in a silly sock swap I’m closing up applications on Wednesday the budget is £5 and it can be anything sock related you send from socks to sock monsters.
