It seems like a long while since I was lucky enough to try anything new from Yves Rocher, in fact looking back over my blog, it seems like it was way back in summer 2015. However, it is Christmas and I was thrilled when earlier in the month I was asked to try a couple of things from their Christmas Collection and I was kindly sent the following two products to try.
Yves Rocher have brought out a few difference fragrances within their Christmas collection and the items I decided to try come from two of them. With the first being Clementine & Spices and the second Candied Orange & Almond, both of which offer unique takes, on the idea of Christmas fragrances.
Candied Orange & Almond Exfolating Shower Gel
While I’ve tried all manner of exfoliators and shower gels, I’ve never tried one which brings the two together and to be honest would never have even thought it would work. However, if like me you need a gentle exfoliator and fancy something which not only buffs off the dead skin, but also cleanses this is the perfect compromise.
Using fruit grains, Yves Rocher have made it so this is gentle enough for everyday use. So no more worrying about needing a whole host of different products, this one can be your daily friend, for all.
When it comes to the scent, this is a unique take on a Christmas citrus fragrance, which is surprisingly subtle. In use it gently exfoliates, while the gel side foams, leaving your skin feeling as it has been pampered and cleaned all at once.
Perhaps most surprising of all, Yves Rochers exfoliating shower gel range, cost just £4.50 for 200ml.
Clementine & Spices Candle
If like me you are a candle fan and want a candle that smells wonderfully festive, but don’t want to break the bank. Then this Clementine & Spices delight from Yves Rocher is a must.
Costing just £6.95 this candle brings a citrus edge to the much loved festive spice scent and does it so well. As soon as you open the box you are greeted by a scent that magic’s you away to a time of festivities. I have definitely been enjoying have this lit in the run up to Christmas this year.
For me both of these products are perfect for Christmas and I cannot wait to see what Yves Rocher bring to the table in the New Year.
What do you think of these items, would you like to try either of them?
