Christmas with DotComGiftShop

The observant of you might have noticed a DotComGiftShop badge pop up on my sidebar of late for those of you who aren’t familiar with them – here’s a little post from them to tell you a bit about what they have to offer this Christmas.

Christmas is coming up and there’s always so much to do it can seem overwhelming. But not to worry: take a weight off your mind and let DotComGiftShop help plan the big day! From presents to decorations, we’ve got it all covered.
Decorations
The first step is to prepare your home. Whether or not you’re having guests for Christmas, there’s nothing like making your home look beautifully festive.
What better way to liven up a room or hallway than with hanging decorations, like some gorgeous fabric bunting or a vintage paper chain kit?
You can always have a go at making your own decorations. Try the Little Friends craft set or turn all those Christmas cards into a lovely wall display with this red star card holder.

Lighting

There’s nothing like soft lighting to create a cosy atmosphere, and we have lots of beautiful light decorations to get you in the Christmas mood!

Why not give paper decorations a go, with this lovely nine point star or a pack of paper lanterns? You could even illuminate your dinner table with them.

Alternatively, if festive kitsch is more your style think novelty lights, in the shape of reindeer and pretty snowflake baubles!
Table settings
Christmas food: everybody loves it, from the roasties to the pudding, so this year make it extra special with pretty table decorations.
Let everyone know where they’re sitting with the cute Santa peg place settings, and sprinkle around some silver bells to make the table sparkle.
Finish it off with festive napkins and some cinnamon t-lights, and dinner is served. And, if everybody still has room for dessert, these dessert decorations will really take the cake!

Gifts
Need something to put under the tree, but stuck for gift ideas? We have plenty of great things to choose from!
How about a set of mini gardening tools for kids? There’s also the vintage airline hold-all for him and the turquoise triple shell necklace for her. And that’s just the start!

Give a game as a present and you’ll have something to keep everyone entertained on Christmas Day. Think modelling clay or a retro board game, so you can while away the evening playing together as a family.
Wrapping
Once you’ve got your gifts, don’t just wrap them in any old paper: make them so beautiful you almost won’t want to open them. Almost.
For a traditional look use the pink la petite rose paper or Christmas village paper. If you have awkwardly shaped gifts you can pop them into these 1950s Christmas boxes.

It’s not just about family: the cute panettone gift boxes and cracker-shaped sweetie boxes are perfect for taking treats to school or work!
Fun for kids
We all know how much children love Christmas, and now you can make it extra special with our selection of gifts and toys.
Unleash your little one’s creative side with this feltcraft Princess Charlotte doll or a set of giant playground chalks. Your budding artist will love it!

They’ll have lots of fun playing with Poppy’s playhouse kitchen whilst you cook up the family roast. And after dinner, you can all settle down to a great game of snakes and ladders. Perfect!
For everything you need this holiday season, remember to check out DotComGiftShop’s huge selection of Christmas products. We wish you a very merry Christmas!
