Last month I introduced you all the fantastic Betrousse, the new beauty box on the street, if you missed it check it out here for all the down low about them.
There’s newest box is ‘The Must Haves’ 5 full sized products to help you prepare for your summer holiday. With an astounding RRP for these 5 products of £131 you will probably feel a little light headed when I tell you, you can order them for a lowly £19*.

Betrousse - Must Haves

I couldn’t wait to get this box open I honestly can’t say there’s one item I won’t use, though a couple of things have had my Mum asking if she might just be able to give them a try.
There is quite a difference in price between some of the items in this box I’m going to start small and work up and believe me you will be amazed.

Instant Antibacterial Santitizer by Bacti Control – £1.30
If this was in any other beauty box I could see all hell breaking loose but in the context it is given, to me it seems to fit perfectly. I always have some sort of sanitizer in my handbag so doesn’t that make it a ‘must have?’ It’s simple and easy to use squirt it on rub it in and within 30 seconds your hands are clean and safe to use plus the added ingredients of aloe vera and pro-vitamin B5 make sure your hands are also moisturised.
Pure Papaya Ointment by Phytocare – £9.99
This is one of the items that had my Mum chomping at the bit, she was really excited to see it – apparently it will be fantastic for her dry cracked hands in winter (she later pointed out it would also be great for my lips but this was much later). This ointment is 100% natural and completely petroleum jelly-free and to be honest it can be used to soothe, smooth, moisturise and protect you, and with a million and one uses from hands, lip, feet and elbows this little tube really is a one to have.
Moisturizing Tea Tree Oil Cream by Ostraly – £18.80
I was pleased to receive this in my box I do suffer with both spot prone and oily skin so tea tree is something I am often drawn to for my face, I have to admit I have never used it as a body cream before so it will be interesting to see how I like it, it does smell divine. This was an either or item, the other was Moisturizing Lanolin Oil Cream – which is said to be good for dry skin.
Aqueous Cellulite Detox Serum By LPG
Aqueous Cellulite Detox Serum By LPG - £41.00
This highly concentrated serum is not only meant to be great for getting rid of Cellulite but also helping with water retention (which I do admit I suffer from – think I might need more than this one tube to help me though!)
Night cream by Océange
Night cream by Océange – £60.00
The lovely Audrey at Betrousse was telling me this really is the one to watch from this box before it arrived, and how it’s a brand she herself loves, so I was so excited to see what it has to offer. First of all I admit again the packaging got me- it’s different, it stands out, it’s triangular - it was inevitable. Actually not only did the packaging give me joy but so did the cream..
Night cream by Océange
It’s blue!! (Yes I know small things).
Anyway enough with me getting overly excited about aesthetics, the cream it’s self is also fantastic it has a lovely light fragrances, and leaves your skin instantaneously feeling soft, smoothed and refreshed, a little goes a long way with the best application technique being to massage in a light circular motion.
Excitedly Océange are offering 50% off on their website if you use the code: OCEABT when you buy a product!
To reach Océange or any other products website and to find out further information on all the products included in this edition of Betrousse the title links of each item will take you straight to their dedicated Betrousse page.
*Price is NOT inclusive of postage and packaging.
**The Betrousse box is provided free from my consideration all views are honest and my own as always.

  1. Loving the triangular packaging, that is bound to get it noticed. Like your Mum I have dry hand, I use Dove hand creme its the best one I’ve ever tried I have a tube a the side of the kitchen sink, one in my hand back, one at the side of my bed & another one in the car. As I try to keep my nails on the longer side (all mine home grown) I give them a lot of attention, I am usually found buffing them if we are going to be in the car for over 10 minutes, I’m guaranteed time to do them all. But I always put hand creme, eye creme, then nail oil on before I get into bed.

The big price drop is very appealing, I couldn’t justify paying £60 for any cream, seeing its on offer, what size are all the products in hunny?

  2. Mine split down by my nails which is painful enough I can’t imagine how people like you and my Mum deal with it. I try and grow my nails but sadly these days they split a lot :( Can’t be doing with false ones though they feel so odd.

Whoops now that’s some important information I missed out, so sorry about that:

    Hand Sanitizer: 60ml
    Papaya Ointment: 25g
Moisturizing Lanolin Oil Cream OR Moisturizing Tea Tree Oil Cream: 250g

    Aqueous Cellulite Detox Serum: 100ml
Night cream Océange: 1.17fl.oz (approx 35ml I believe)

So they really are the sizes you would expect as being full sized. Hard to get your head round really that you get so much for so little.

    xx

  3. Looks like a great package! To get a £60 product too – wow. Unusual to get such high value products. I’ve got a couple of boxes I’ve not got round to touching yet. Will be sure to share my opinion when I do… Rebecca @ http://www.biteablebeauty.com/

  4. That is so true, which I think even for those lucky people who could afford to buy it it’s a fab way to try something, as well as us who can’t just to try something that little bit different. x
