Beautyland have been my Queen of the Ads for the past few months so I’m sure you have all become very used to the name – during that time I came across the gorgeous Limited Edition Carousel Collection from Paul and Joe and decided that a great way to put this website to the full test would be to treat myself to a couple pieces (all for the sake of trying out the full experience for you guys of course).
Paul and Joe Carousel Collection
How amazing? I love detail on Paul and Joe, with the horse on the lipstick (if you look closely on the bottom left picture you can see it) and eye shadow (bets on if I will ever use it or not?). This new limited edition collection contains 3 different eye shadows and lipsticks, there is also a range of covers – as the lip stick is brought as a refill you are able to choose which one you would like from cats to clover and of course my beloved elephants, while the eye shadow packaging does match, you sadly cannot pick and choose which cover you would like – I just happened to be lucky that my favourite neutral palette was also contained in the elephants box.
In case you wondered about the colours or fancy them for yourself the lipstick is: Merry-Go-Round (079) and described as a bright and cheerful coral with warm, rosy tones – while the eye shadow is: Calliope (082) a blushing beige and bold brown. Also in the collection is:
Lipsticks (£18.50 including choice of case):
Carousel (078) – a kiss of peachy pink that adds a romantic touch
Manège (080) – a sultry fuchsia pink that packs a punch of chic colour
Eye shadows (£17):
Montmartre (083) – the mesmerizing colour tones of nature add drama and definition to eyes (a deep green and khaki housed in the cat cover).
La Belle Époque (084) – powdery pink and a smoky grey create a picture perfect palette (housed in the clover cover).
Service from Beautyland was amazing – I ordered late one night and my goodies arrived carefully packaged a couple of days later – I was updated to know when they were packaged and shipped and it really felt like a personal, deluxe service and one I was really over the moon with. I will definitely be shopping with them again when I need another Paul and Joe beauty fix.
Also apparently they have a new brand coming in the next few months really excited to see who it might be – as I know each one is hand picked for a number of factors. If you want to read a bit more about Beautyland make sure you check out my previous post on why it was started and the ideas behind it here.
What do you think of my buys, are you a fan or Paul and Joe or Beautyland?
