L’Occitane – Colognes

When I was in Paris all the L’Occitane shops I passed had window displays of these gorgeous Colognes realised this month. There are 3 colognes in the range, one for females one that is unisex and one for males. Coming in two sizes a travel size 50ml (£21) and a 300ml (£37) there is something for everyone at any time.
Eau Captivante for men is recognisable from the green packaging.
L'Occitane Eau Captivante
This is the first one that arrived on my doorstep and both me and my Mum agreed although is was labelled as one of the men, it was still a very nice fragrance that both of us could be around. It contains top notes of Bergamot and lime, heart notes of mint and basil and base of lavender and woody notes. Ash isn’t one for anything other than a spray of lynx in the morning but even he has decided he would wear this and ran off with it when I offered it to him. The travel size as you can see comes complete with a spray, making it easy and simple to use.
Eau Universelle is the unisex fragrance and is distinguished being yellow.

It contains top notes of Bergamot and Grapefruit, heart of Petitgrain and Geranium and Base woody notes and Amber.
Eau Ravissante is of course the feminine fragrance and surprise surprise is pink.
L'Occitane Eau Ravissante
This one caught me by surprise turning up a little after the first and totally unexpected it was nice, while the males was more deep with a herbal fragrance shining through Eau Ravissante was floral and fruity with top notes of Bergamot and Pink Pepper, heart notes of Damascena Rose and Freesia, and base of Musk and Amber.
I’ve totally fallen in love with this scent I will admit I will have to buy an atomiser to decant it into at some point as I’m Miss Clumsy and although splashing yourself with it is the optimum way to use it I’m not sure showering in it actually is, although apparently 2 cap fulls into your bath is a lovely way to relax.
To find out more about the range head over to the L’Occitane site.
Have you had a sniff of these gorgeous colognes, what do you think of them?

UGG.

Ugg Australia Logo

I was sat thinking we all know that UGG make shoes for the winter there sheepskin lined boots make for warm as toast tootsies through those cold months, but even here in the UK they would be a bit too much through the warmer summers, so I set out to see do UGG make a spring / summer range to keep your feet a might be cooler?
And as expected they of course have.

UGG Maremma

Maremma - £96.99 (currently on sale for £77.60) Is it wrong that I love the look of the sheepskin part, I suffer with blisters and that just looks like it would be so comfortable, yes the small things do please me.

UGG Abbie

Abbie - £166.99 (currently on sale for £133.60) I haven’t worn clogs in well forever but these just bring back so many memories and the yearning to get some for myself again.

UGG Lucianna
Lucianna - £141.99 (currently on sale for £113.60) with cloth straps and a raffia wedge these wedges are sure to get you noticed with their bright colours as you walk the streets this summer.
What do you think of Uggs summer collection? Are they something you could see yourself wearing? I have to admit I don’t own a pair of Uggs boots or otherwise are they something I should look into adding to my shoe hoard?
