Happy New Year

I’m not one to celebrate new year, to me it’s just another day. Do I have hope that 2012 will be bigger and better than 2011 of course. In all honesty I don’t do pubs and clubs anyway as they set of panic attacks with the crowded, stuffy atmospheres they have inside them. So a quiet night is just right up my street.
2011 for me has been a mix of highs and lows. From having a lovely holiday at Center Parcs, to a weekend at Alton Towers for highs to finally getting my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia leading to having to move and lots of doctors appointments which will take place in 2012. For Ash as well as the move of course he will be looking for a new job what he will end up doing no one knows, but I do hope he will enjoy it and get to work with some lovely people as he has before.

We gained two new members to our little family first of all the once small not rather plump Syrian Hamster Artie. I feel for him after he was called deformed due to his not so long nose.

Artie started life in a small cage way to small for the big boy he grew into so of course a new Artie Mansion was brought which left his old cage empty, for the last month plus a little Roborovoski called Robbie had been in the rescue section at the local Pets at Home I had grown very fond of him on our many chats through the glass, so of course Robbie the Robo who has been sent for re-homing due to speed came to join us.

He’s still a speed fiend and is hard to capture on film due to it, but he’s most speedy when he knows I’m bringing his food and treat for the day. They of course joined my long term best doggie friend the gorgeous Sally, who this year celebrated her 6 years with me and her approximate 11th birthday.

Last year when I started this blog I never thought nor wished anyone would ever read it, nor that I would get to work with some amazing brands and talk to some wonderful people through it. It was just my space on the Internet to say what I wanted and to help me look back through the good times. What it has become honestly still amazes me and I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for reading my little old thoughts and for popping by and saying hi. I look forward to sharing a little bit of my 2012 with you all as well.
To you and all your families I wish you the most wonderful 2012 I hope it is full of joy and happiness all round.
