Two of the newest editions to the E.L.F. range have been there Flawless Finish Foundation and Matte Lip Colour, which I have been trying out.

I’ve been trying there Flawless Finish Foundation in Sand and found for me it’s just the right colour.

I love the fact this is oil free, very good for me as I do have patches of very oily skin, it also has an SPF of 15, and what girl doesn’t love that in a foundation, help to protect our precious skin from the suns rays.

I found the foundation to be light and easy to wear, ELF suggest using a brush or sponge to apply, but I did find it just as easy to use my fingers when I was in a rush.

Flawless Finish Foundation is available in 6 shades, Porcelain, Sand, Buff, Caramel, Almond and Coco and they cost £6.50 for 0.8oz (23g).

For the Matte Lip Colour I went from Natural and I love it!!

In all honesty I don’t think I’ve tried a lip pencil before, this is ELF’s new take on a matte lipstick, enriched with Vitamins A, C and E, as well as giving a lovely matte finish, which lasted well.

With flash, Without Flash.

Of course if you want a glossy effect you just need to add a clear gloss over the top.

The Studio Matte Lip is available in four colours: Coral, Natural, Tea Rose and Praline and cost £3.50 each.

Have you tried either of these products out what do you think of them?

Still a Mystery?

So decided to post an update on the weirdness of my health who knows what’s going on with me – I think I shall donate my body to medical science when I die I’m sure they will have a field day looking at every bit of me and finding out the where, whats and whys. I’d enjoy watching actually and thinking ohhh so that’s what it was! I do have a macabre side sorry.
I’ve been having a couple of bad weeks, my mobility is deteriorating, I don’t remember the last time I went for a good walk – I miss it, and I wont lie it makes me more depressed, and of late it’s been getting worse, I’m starting to worry about winter and living in a first floor flat with outside stairs and becoming housebound. Me + being housebound = awful cabin fever.
The doctor still finds it all a mystery, but is thinking it most probably isn’t my medication or my PVF anymore and is sending me for blood tests to look at my muscles, to see if they are inflamed or in bad health. Or whatever it is they can amazingly tell from a small sample of blood.
Those phlebotomist must go through incredible training at their chosen phlebotomy schools.
I’m trying not to get to the why me phase, why is it always one thing after another, at the end of the day I am a very lucky person I have a wonderful boyfriend and family, a roof over my head and food in the fridge.

NB. Please note that although this has become an educational resource post all sentiment was written by me for the one reason I wanted to show how I feel and that still applies.
